American media is complete horseshit for many, many reasons. 1: News switching from story to story in a matter of seconds maintains short attention spans. 2: Reality TV... 'nuff said 3: Every single news network focuses on opinions, not facts. 4: News anchors are actors, not journalists. 5: Shows for kids portray America as the only free country in the world. 6: All news networks use tragedies as money makers. (Ferguson incident is one example) 7: Glorifies homogeneity 8: TV shows for children portray authority as an amazing thing. 9: The music industry churns out shitty pop music and buries good music. 10: Creates impossible standards for women and men.
