There is a very simple reason players still play Destiny. It's because it is an advanced Skinner box, designed to encourage people to perform the same monotonous tasks in hopes of getting a reward. This false sense of achievement works very well. Don't believe me? Well try the game in the link I posted above. It's another Skinner box, but the only difference is that you are garenteed the reward if you work for it. Cookie clicker is also a better game than Destiny because it never lied about what kind of game it is. So basically, those of you who play this game are just mice to bungie. They are training you to do these tasks in hopes of being rewarded. You will buy their DLC because you can no longer think for yourselves. You will be satisfied with doing more monotonous repetitive missions in hopes of more rewards...which may or may never come.
