Im not talking about explosion radius or anything but the fact that a titan can make the choice to activate his super but if he dies before hitting the ground he keeps his super! Thats absurd! Same thing with voidwalker but to a lesser extent. If a hunter uses golden gun or blade dancer and then immediately dies too bad sorry for you. Now before you say oh blade dancer is this and that. I have 1 of each! I know how bullshit every super is because ive used and experienced them all. I personally have died before throwing the bomb or landing and respawned with my super its ridiculous.
Edit: i think some people are thinking im some hunter elitist. No ive had real examples where i kept my super and i think its bs.

Well I have all three characters and you only keep your super if it didn't "come out". Bladedancer and gunslinger are "controlled" supers and count as using them, so you lose them.
-
Actually, hunters ONLY lose their super if the animation into their super finishes. If they are mid-animation, they keep it.
-
Hunters have hands down the most OP supers in the crucible. They are specifically player based, difficult to guard against, and last for a period of time, not just a single burst like nova bomb or fist of havoc. I'm not saying its a bad thing, but a hunters supers are better than a Titan or hunters against other players.

Edited by R-e-i-zo: 11/28/2014 2:12:18 PMAll supers feel overpowered when you get killed by them. This is good, this means they work, they genuinely are super ! I don't think any 1 is unfair or unbalanced, if Titans and Locks get a panic button the hunter gets a higher chance of getting more kills instead. everything has an advantage/disadvantage, used in the right hands any one of the supers can be highly effective and used by a bad player they can potentially all feel under powered and worthless.

Edited by D1V1N1TY: 11/28/2014 2:12:03 PM*rolls eyes* I swear 90% of the posts in this forum are of people whining about this or that being OP, RNG, or that Xur is selling something. Get over it people. The whining should be about the server issues, raid glitches that screw up a good run, and need for more content. Not petty complaints because you got wasted in the crucible.

Guess what. That bowling ball I dropped on my foot... That was OP and needs a serious nerf!!
-
They are meant to be OP...
-
Your opinion does not make this fact. Sry
-
Obviously when the op talks about supers being op he means in relation to other supers....
-
All supers are evenly overpowered
-
I should report this because it's so stupid.
-
It's all about awareness and knowing how to run your characters well. That's all.
-
But you're talking about one-shot attacks vs 3+ hit ones. As a hunter I can safely say that all of the supers balance each other out.
-
Everything is op!!! Nerf the game!!! All players should only be able to dance, sit, point, and wave. I hear the point is the most effective against atheon. The dps rivals the ghorn.
-
Panic super op bungie pls

Okay think of it like this. Your super needs to charge, because it needs a lot of energy. It is when this energy is released that you lose the ability to super. A striker titan releases the energy when their fist(s) hit the ground. When a titan dies before hitting the ground they haven't used the stored energy, hence they still have their super. A warlock releases this energy when the nova bomb formed. When a warlock is killed before the nova bomb is formed, the energy has not been used so they can still super I think an appropriate fix for this could be a hunter retains the unused super energy when they die. This way it solves your problem without destroying the foundation of the super.
-
Hmpf ofc don't mention sunsinger losing their super that way ugh...
-
I agree. I always rage whenever I wait for the animation to finish and die from something stupid

Get gud

Edited by RaptorJeebus: 11/27/2014 4:46:38 PMYet a Hunter who activates his super can run around with them active until the energy/shots run out. Can a titan fist of havoc multiple people in different locations with one super? No. Can a warlock nova bomb multiple people in different locations with one super? No. Got all three characters at 30 (my Hunter just needs to get some more spinmetal+spirit bloom) and I've played them all in PvP, my conclusion is that the hunters supers are the one that requires the most situational awareness due to the vulnerability of his animations, yet with the highest reward for perfect execution. TL:DR - stop activating your super in front of enemies you dumbass.

Don't you have a cod game to play? #leavetheseforums
-
Choke on a fat one
-
Whining is OP. Nerf it. Now.
-
And you don't call rising from the dead OP?
-
Blah blah blah... All supers are OP... That is why they are called Supers! They are supposed to be! Stop complaining...
-
There is a reason for that. Titan/Warlock has a super confined to where they use it. Hunter has a super that allows them to hunt with it. Free roam over a map allowing them to create a window of opportunity.
