Dynamic Strike Boss fights

So I come here today to talk about boss fights in strikes, and how they're not as dynamic as they could be. Simple features during encouters to help shake things up, that are not just have gaurdians ducking for cover, shooting at the boss/adds, and keeping their distance from the boss. Sepiks Prime - While easily my favorite fight, and it's pretty straight forward, his teleporting already shakes things up, as he could teleport right on top of you, forcing you to move, or kill you. His energy draining though could have been utilized in such a way, that made Gaurdians stack to reduce the amount of energy/health he drains, as well make them spread out for a massive attack that could possibly chain and cause death if everyone is together, or in line of sight. See, simple things to shake up fights. Valus Ta'aurc - So while the upper platforms are widely used as cover, and firing positions, these are easily targeted for effects. Blocking off these areas with electricity for a short period of time can make a gaurdian quick to scram, though not both at the same time. Make it so gaurdians aren't always sitting in one area, get a wide use of the room at all times. Being as large as Ta'aurc is, a charge attack whenever gaurdians set foot in his area, and are within line of sight. If they're at opposite ends, why not a forceful shockwave? I'm sure with his weight he could easily crush the Imperial Land Tank. Sekrion, The Nexus Mind - Easily the dullest and most boring fight of them all. Pew pew pew shield pew pew pew shield pew pew pew dead. Seeing as he is the Nexus Mind, why not give him a controlled space, teleport us to an alternate room (same or different), give us a small objective to complete within this alternate space, (ie: destoying energy pillars) that removes his sheild and gives us a small damage buff in return. Keep the adds, obviously... I like shooting them. I don't currently have any ideas for Askor, or Phogoth, as the areas and nature of these fights have kind of limited my thinking on how to change them up without making their fights frustrating. The raid bosses are pretty good it terms of dynamics, and I definitely look forward to Crota's End. Keep in mind, these are features I would have liked to see, little to late to implement them now. Just look to the future. Any ideas, discussions, or changes to my encounters, bring em on! I know there are others out there with raid experience in World of Warcraft, I see it all the time on the forums. So bring out that boss experience and share ideas!

 • Honestly it sounds cool but at the same time would make the same 5 strikes more tedious than they alrdy are. If their were more maybe it would be a cooler idea. But for the same of adding something with substance For the phogoth strike. It would be a little more nerve wrecking if his chains that he broke out of stay dangling from his wrists and he used them as a weapon. Every time people ran by him he sleds them on the ground or even swings them in the air for when Guardians try to go up over him on the platforms
