I am one of the new people who only came here as a result of Destiny, you may remember me from such arguments as the time I was a pompous, arrogant prick or the one where I was a know it all dick bag. I realize that many of you have been here for a decade and that from your perspective those of us who are new are a rampant horde of entitled casuals spewing ignorance within a community that you built and maintained. Yeah sorry bout that. Some of my peers may argue that Bungie built this community but you and I know better. They may have built the infrastructure but it was the players who built the actual community of gamers. It was that community that made Halo a success and RoosterTeeth a success. Bungie didn't do this you did. And if you hadn't done it, if you hadn't held on through the crap communication, the sad map packs, the fiascos an ridiculousness that now reside in the past then Destiny would not have been created. Thank you for making this possible. To all those who are new to this community (such as myself), please keep in mind that there is a valid point here. That we, the invaders, arrived at a community with an indigenous population and for many of us didn't even bother to find out about the local culture or its history before we set up shop and started flinging cats.
