I didn't really pay much attention to the "98" in his username, & I kept hearing somebody making dumbass remarks but I wasn't sure if it was coming from him.
Then we start the raid. Every time I sit, he teabags. It's amusing the first few times, annoying as hell after a while. I never say anything; it's not that big a deal.
We get to the oracles, he pushes somebody off after we've already started.
We get to the Templar & we're all Titans or Warlocks with two grenades so he volunteers to grab the relic. Two seconds in its obvious he doesn't know how to use it. For some reason, he goes to the middle & holds the cleanse until it run out. We got marked shortly after & wiped because of his antics. Then he says that he has two grenades & shouldn't have to hold the relic because he's an asset. It's such a ridiculous thing to argue about so I just grab the relic & sit down. He proceeds to teabag me constantly & ask me why I always sit down. Who the -blam!- cares? Never met someone who has.
During the gorgon maze, everyone is following me. I tell everybody not to jump to the next rock because there's a gorgon right beneath us. What does he do? Jumps& gets spotted a few seconds later. At this point, I've had enough. I tell them that I'm going to leave for this part & invite me back once they're passed it. Someone else says the same thing & he calls us lazy. I inform him that I could do it by myself in a minute but of course he would never leave.
At that point, one of my friends sends me a game & party invite. I was already thinking about leaving once we got to the GK checkpoint because I didn't have faith in that group. I chose to start the raid over than listen to another second of him talking.
Right before I leave I hear the kid say "hey does anybody wanna lead cause I don't really know the path on hard. I get pissed & ask him why he ran off on his own then. He says "I feel like you're challenging my manhood."
I left after that & deleted him from my friends. Never again.
Edit: yes, I'm well aware that not every teenager is like this & there are plenty of adults who act like this as well; however, the overwhelming majority of people who act childish online are teens. Cheers to those teens with the maturity to just be chill & have fun.
I didn't kick him because I wasn't the party leader

I'm 15 and people like in your example are one reason I hate my generation. Most of my generation is either immature, self entitled, bratty, obsessed with sex, rude, or a stoner. Then there's me. Christian. Friendly. Stays inside my house . And tries to be respectful. Lol
-
People my age acting like idiots really pisses me off (I'm 16). I don't see the allure of today's music, trends, or anything else for that matter. You ran into one of the idiots, and on behalf of the sensible group of today's youth, I'd like to apologize.
-
I must sincerely apologise for my generation.
-
I'm 14 years old and I do not act like this AT ALL. Maybe the kid is just flat out immature. I've raided roughly 18-19 times and have never encountered a person like this. I understand that he was annoying. I agree, but not all teenagers are as idiotic as him.
-
As a 15 year old I can confirm that there are many teenagers that are beyond annoying. I have one in my friends list right now that I'm debating on whether to remove or not. Of course I like to joke around every once in a while, who doesn't? But I definitely agree that teens can be idiots lol.
-
If he didn't want his manhood challenged, he shouldn't be in a situation where it would be.
-
I've never seen some get so annoyed by a "tbag" unless it's PvP. Chill out.
-
I un-friended all of the kids on my friends list. They are really annoying to be in a party with.
-
In general, yes. I hate teenagers. They suck and I hope that I wasn't a complete retard like most of that generation that I have the misfortune of meeting. That being said, I do have some teenager friends that I really enjoy playing with.

Phrasing...
-
I'm 17 and feel the same way 😝 But the amount of adults who are assholes for no reason that always talk shit and/or are drinking constantly is worse
-
We have a 13 year old in our raid group. The rest of us are 27-30 and but he has always held his own. But get two 13 year olds together and they never shut up.. we just dont let his friendd raid with us lol.
-
If you squeak, you suck #fact
-
I'm surprised that I haven't been kicked because most randoms that I run the raid with sound like they're in their late 20's and always talk about how they played with a minor and hated it. I wonder if it's because of my voice and that I rarely speak that everyone thinks that I'm in my early 20's
-
Don't let him label teenagers as immature gamers, I'm only 14 years old but have done raid 20+ times and know all the mechanics and stuff. Also have lvl 30 and multiple exotics. I can shrek pretty hard in crucible as we'll *snobby face*
-
I'm a teenager who hates most teenagers. I get along with anybody from any other age group other than teenagers. Is that normal?
-
So did he sound 16? Like did it sound like he hit puberty? I played with a full group of 15-17 yr olds today and they were pretty chill, we did the hard mode raid in a little over an hour start to finish.
-
well some adults like to give instructions in the raid when they have never even completed the raid before but have seen youtube videos on how to do it
-
I'm 12 and what is this
-
This right here is why I couldn't finish the VoG...... Lol but I am a teen, and it is often difficult to find someone who is mature. Often, you will see what kind of a teen he is by the first thing he/she says or does.
-
I think you endure for far too long brother, for far too long. I would've left after the relic ordeal in the templar. But then again, I literally have no patience for kids like that.
-
Edited by A FILTHY NUT: 11/27/2014 12:48:21 AMI subconsciously lose respect for people that are younger than 17. Not saying that I wouldn't game with them, but it's how I feel.
-
My gamer tag ends in 98 but I assure you I am not the guy he's talking about so if I post in the raid forums please don't reject me hahaha
-
Im careful who makes it on my friends list. Pick your friends like you pick your fruit.
-
Good luck avoiding teens in an online video game lol
-
Its called LITTLE PEEPEE syndrome. Those "boys" feel so insecure, so they're all talk and defensive XD even on a game lololol
