ALL I'VE DONE FOR THE LAST TWO HOURS IS TRY TO ACCESS THE TOWER!!!

Maybe it's just that you don't care about your customers. I've been receiving continuous beaver errors when trying to access the tower. Yes I've read your "help" forum and no it didn't help. The modem I have is owned by Cox Communications and I can't make changes to the configuration. I've only been playing Destiny for about 10 days. Every single day, I have received a number of errors. Beaver, Flatworm, and Leopard to name a few. I did my own research on how to fix some of these errors (because your help forums are worthless and repetitive) and I found a likely solution is to adjust my router settings.What about the people who don't have routers that they can change the configurations on? For example, I get my internet service from Cox and my modem and router are the same piece of equipment. I can't login to adjust any of these settings because Cox doesn't allow it (and they've changed the default router password). You're basically telling your customers who can't configure the settings to just deal with this problem. This is the only game that I receive errors on. THE ONLY GAME THAT I RECEIVE ERRORS ON. Clearly there is a critical problem here that needs addressed. If the fix is for people to increase their TCP or UDP flood thresholds, then maybe you should configure your servers to not flood the TCP or UDP environments. Analogy - I don't have to fix the register at Subway if it breaks after I've ordered a sandwich. Either the employees fix the register, they find another way for people to pay for their orders, or they give people their sandwiches for free that are already made and take no more orders until the register is fixed. NOT fixing the register doesn't resolve anything. The damn register is still broken, people are still standing in line, and the customers are by no means expected to fix the register themselves. This game doesn't even come close to the player base that World of Warcraft has and they've got it figured out. I haven't played it in a few years, but I don't remember ever having a network error. Your game is quickly getting a bad name and my suspicion is the franchise is at risk of going down in history as one of the most interesting and intuitive games of all time, that nobody could ever play. The solution may involve a few days of server downtime. Personally, I would come back after the downtime excited and play an extra hour every night once the servers were live again if it meant no more errors. I'm just sayin'.

  • There is not much that I can say that you havnt heard before, but please don't say that they don't care about the customer. Bungie has done ALOT (can't stress the alot enough) for the customer. Just because they dont roll out a patch the second shit hits the fan, dons't mean they don't care. It ain't easy running a big game like this. Just be patient. Alot of errors will be fixed soon.

        • Even if you can make changes to your gateway, it still doesn't guarantee a fix... I've spent the last 2 days changing settings and trying to troubleshoot something that might work... But I still only get maybe a half hour of game time at any given instance... And most, if not all, of the forum guides I was able to find just ended up being one big cycle of making different combinations of settings and then restoring everything to factory defaults if it didn't work.. This issue is really starting to piss off a lot of people, and if it isn't fixed players will find a GE that works... There's plenty of them!

They just wanna play a game but the error codes say "no"! There's no other game I really wanna play but destiny. I just want to play a strike mission, and FINISH IT? Also it snowed outside so I have nothing to really do in my area but watch TV or play on my ps3 which the only game I have is destiny on it. [b][u]Also It's almost month 4 and still experience error codes, if bungie doesn't fix this by DLC or even worse by Christmas THEY WILL BE FLAMED![/u][/b] Bungie is more then capable to fix these because halo never had problems, then why does this game has problems worse then any other online game. I'm not saying this game is garbage but it has too much problems You people might think I'm say i'm going wrong about this but this is what I have to say about this game.         • You're analogy is almost perfect. Except you don't realize that the register is fine, the card reader is finicky, and everybody else is paying with cash. On a less standoffish note, I had a similar problem (modem which acts as a router and cannot be adjusted) and solved my issues by wiring a router to my modem then opening ports as necessary.

            Bungie this is getting quite ridiculous, the fact that my consul had to connect to another players consul to play on DESTINY SEVER is so dumb that I can't even begin to explain how poor of a server design this is. I consider myself apart of the Destiny community, in doing so I hope that my problem is one day solved. Now onto the problem. Before I get on Destiny each day I always check my NAT type and 95% of the time it is open, but whenever I try and play on the Crucible it is impossible to do it by myself. I have to have a friend host the fireteam, I get kicked out because of the beaver error, then I must try and rejoin his session and hope for the best. I get the same problem with connecting to the Tower aswell. I only have to wait 2-3 time before it's done kicking me out of the game for me to be able to connect to the tower. Now before I get criticized about not turning on UPnP or port forwarding, I have. I have followed all the instruction on how to diminish this error multiple time, so many times that it's sickening that nothing has worked. I said it once and I'll say it again it's pathetic that I need to connect to another player to go into these areas.

              • Turn off all downloading on computers like torrent files and stuff. It workt for me now I never get disconnected

                • Yep I think a boycott is in order... I am also terribly annoyed about the beaver issue. Gotta log into the tower two to three times each time I gotta go there. In fact I downloaded and updated all my WoW software and drivers after a two year break. Like I said in a previous post. Destiny was the only reason I bought a console and its quickly turning into the same reason I'm planning on selling it...

                    • I can't get in the tower period because of error code bee. I haven't finshed any type of game mode since the Iron banner update came out. Bungie you owe us... BIG TIME I had these problems since destiny came out and I can't get a refund!
