What are the best maps for 1v1's in Halo PC?
I always thought that Halo 1 was the only Halo where 1v1's really mattered. I remember it was all about controlling the power ups and map in ways that the other Halo titles failed to recapture. I wanted to get some of your opinions on what maps delivered the best 1v1's in terms of balance and competitiveness.

You can't exactly take away the overshields/active camo when it comes to Combat Evolved gametypes. However, in my mod I'm making (loliforgotaboutthat >.>) I'm taking all the power ups out. Always felt Halo was better off without it on a competitive level. Just fluff that gets in the way and screws with the skill gap. Definitely in a 1v1 environment. Most people just use honor rules when it comes to using power ups, though. I know that most of the people I've played against will just call off the match completely if you touch an overshield, rocket launcher, flamethrower, or fuel rod gun. Active Camo seems to be fine by most, but I still see it as fluff.
