I don't know why they don't. Do the devs want us to rng the raid? Is it too easy to get an exotic primary? Are raid weapons supposed to be better than exotics? Exotics are supposed to be the best weapons. Right now, most people don't use exotic primaries mainly because they don't have elemental damage. Also, it would make more sense for the lore of some weapons to be elemental. Thorn has its pvp portion of the bounty requiring kills with void damage. Why does it not do void damage itself? Why does hard light have a stream of white-blue bullets, but no arc damage? I hope the devs consider this.
