Pretty fun game so far. Any tips on how to play, I'm new to the series.

Archer is amazing. I'm a level 23. Make sure you pick a great party. I run the game with Dorian the mage, Vivieene the mage, and Ironbull the Warrior. Vivienne is a must have when you get to high level she has some amazing powers which will restore everyone's shields and a special power if everyone else is dead she revives everyone.

Just make sure your team is balanced and complements your style. If you're a dagger rogue, a tank and long range mage/archer is almost required to suceed. Oh and try to use your side potion more than your main healing potion since that is shared by everyone. One more thing, I would get all of the 50% xp bonus for codex entries on the war table perks to give a boost to lvling.

Level 12 rogue...dual wielding two crafted daggers...only tip I can give is try and complete as many landmarks and shards as you early on, gives a bit of experience...also collect a lot of crafting materials...made a dagger that is absolutely bad ass with roughly 298 damage

Edited by lel: 11/24/2014 10:44:18 PMIf your a new player I'd go for 2 sword/shield warriors and 2 mages that can combo well. Use your tanks to hold choke points and have your mages do the major dps.

I'm enjoying the game, the audio is lacking but the gameplay is casual fun.

Make a mage, you start out weak but you will hit like a truck later

Well, if you're going to play warrior (as you stated in the comments) I would say this: always be looking for better armor. Since you have to get close to pretty much everything, you want to survive the gap closing. Have one ally be a mage with barrier, it'll help there along with your own protection abilities. Other than that, play how you want ^^
