The truth about Hunters...

Everyone cries about how the hunter is the worst character type in the game yet immediately yell "OP!!" about his BD super. Lets be honest, there are waaaaaaay more Titans and Warlocks running around in Destiny than Hunters. Why? IMO its because Hunters are a lot harder to use effectively in all situations, not just PVP. If Hunters were as OP as you all say, PVP would be flooded with nothing but them using Suros. Its not. Think about when you are killed by a Bladedancer. You're probably grouped together with your teammates (most likely near a control checkpoint) without your team breaking off and covering entries like they should. If my team was dumb enough to leave all six guys on the flag at Bravo and a Warlock or Titan utilized their super efficiently (as opposed to employing the 1v1 panic method), I would just say we deserved it. Also, because of the challenge it takes to use a Hunter effectively as your only character highlighted by the fact that few ppl are using them, you have to imagine that those guys (on average anyway) have dedicated themselves to becoming beastly with the deadly skills a Hunter posesses. In short, Hunters are fvcking boss! So if you dont like dying stop making it so easy for us. I cant count on all my fingers and toes how many times I've been killed using BD. The damage reduction isn't so drastic that two or three guys cant stop me. I know thats 2 or 3 guys but there aint a super in the game you stand much of a chance against one on one. As soon as you learn to cover your exits and focus your fire effectively, BD's won't go on six person murder streaks. You say you are boss, then fvcking prove it!
Until then Im gonna continue knifing up your squad and laughing while you cry.
• As a matter of fact I have all classes with maxed out subclasses and I consider the hunter to be the weakest of them all. In PvP he is top of the tops but in PvE he is not very useful. His jumps are quick and designed to evade other guardians attacks. In PvE he is often unable to reach places the other classes reach with ease at all. He has the slowest health regen combined with the least max health and has no possibility to give himself an overshield which makes any lightswitch encounters that take place in narrow hallways nearly impossible to survive. The gunslinger is all set up for precision with a super that doesn't benefit from precision shots. The bladedancer requires melee range but then again you die immidiatly when the super wears off because of the health and overshield aspect. All in all these are things that don't matter in PvP but are essential in PvE. Therefore I consider the hunter to be the class with the least overall value. He is a little ahead over the others in PvP but they compensate for that because they have a designated subclass for PvP and PvE with even the "wrong" ones still being useful in the other part of the game while the hunter feels very restricted and boring. Maybe there are some hyperskillers that will argue they think he is useful anywhere but then I'd say they are more likely extremely good players that compensate the weaknesses of the hunter and could proberbly even -blam!- faces naked armed with a loaf of bread.
