I bought the Destiny download game from microsoft but found out later that they had discontinued xbl gold family packs and could not reasonably afford to buy gold memberships for all of us who want to play. as of this evening, I no longer have Xbox Live Gold membership. Is there any way I can get a refund for Destiny so I can use the money to buy a different gift? I can provide a copy of my transcripted chat with XBL customer service person, "Lorde" or whatever is needed. I just want to get my kids a gift they can actually use and we can play together. I'm not mad at Bungie. Destiny looks like a great game, I played it it a little and even got to level 3 before we discovered my kids would have to pay 60.00 each to have xbox live. I will make sure to delete it from my console or whatever I need to do. Please help!

Edited by Spooky Spoods: 11/22/2014 5:35:26 AMJust call 18004myxbox and tell them the situation. I told them i downloaded AW and the game was utter garbage and i got my money back. Get borderlands, its far superior to this game in every way and does not require xboxlive Unless you're on xboxone then that sucks Edit: i should mention they said they dont usually do that but because i download the majority of my games through the marketplace and have been using xboxlive for years they made an exception Hope this helps

If you have an xbox one gold is shared on the console. If not then you should box up all your stuff return your 360 and buy your kids a one it'll save you money in the long run

You're most likely out of luck due to the fact that Microsoft even states there are no refunds for digitally purchased content. Also this is more of a user forum, not the bungie support.
