Why Trading in Destiny will and should never happen

About virtual economies: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_economy Many on this forums don´t understand why Bungie won`t allow us to trade. What harm is it when i got a second Vex and my Raidbuddy a third Epilogue and we simply exchange the rewards? Seems fair on the Surface. But think about it this way: If someone at the end of the Raid would tell you: I´ll give you 50$ for that Vex, would you give it to him? I know I would, probably even if it was my first one. This kind of thing will open the door for a lot of things. Think of Raidparties that will offer their service to rich guys (so called „Whales“), 5 Level 30 that will carry a Level 27 through Hard Raid in exchange to getting 100$. Sunsingers that offer their services for 20 bucks to solo Atheon etc. (Won`t happen, you think. Happened to Blizzard with Diablo 3`s auction house. Players will always find a way) We got a taste what happens when the Economy is attacked during the Queen`s Event. In no time players had figured out, that a guaranteed Legendary drop on the Queen Bounties, could give them 2 shards/ 2 energies per 10 Minute. Bungie was forced to act quickly, because the economy was flooded with upgrade materials. It`s hard to understand why we as Players benefit in the long run from stable currencies: it`s the same reason why governments can`t print out money 24/7. Edit: There seems to be a misunderstanding here: Personally I would love trading. But when I look at the bigger picture I believe Destiny will become a worse game, if Player-to-Player trading will ever get introduced. I´m pretty confident that the Economy Designers of Bungie see the problems even better than I do. And I will also put my money where my mouth is: I will give my second Hawkmoon to any PS4-player for free that is the first one to claim it after Bungie officially announces Player-to-Player trading.

 • I think they could start by letting you trade items in the after-action screen. That way you dont know what your going to get/have to trade. I got another Last Word last night.... (makes 3!) I would have traded it for a shader my mate got. Disassembled instead.....
