Sick of these idiots who run around like its clash. When I nova bomb the entire team on B, GO DAMN CAP IT, NOT RUN TO THEIR SPAWN TO TRY TO GET DAMN KILLS. I can't tell you how many damn times this has happened today and I'm just sick of it! And if you're below level 28, get out of the banner. Rant over. Liking the replies. Seeing some people trying to be reasonable and some people trying to try and start stuff. It's whatever though.

  • I think they should change the scoring in control so that it is a little more objective based. As it is right now you do not need 2 flags to win all you need to do is out kill the other team, which can be very hard if they are camping 1 flag while your team is spread out covering 2. I think if control mirrored other games with a similar mode more closely where you got points over time for holding each flag (say 100 points every 15 seconds) and then reduced the multipliers for flags owned to an extra .5 for flag to keep the match from ending too quickly.

    • Just played a match where A was being taken and one of my team mates are running in the opposite direction. I'm getting scores of 2-5k while trying to maintain control over 2 points and losing most matches because everyone else is titting about. I just want some new boots!

    • I'm no expert, but it seems to me that the objective of control is a combination of holding point captures and kills. Yes, you can win with no or one points but surely it would take much longer. I mean, if you're on top of the other team in terms of kills, wouldn't the game be over sooner if you took a few seconds to capture a second or third point? That's going to double or triple your kill value and bring about a quicker victory. Also, it seems that a combination of players who go for caps and players who go for kills/disrupt the other team would be ideal. A player who can/will dynamically change his focus to the most beneficial action, whether it be capturing a point or killing, would seem to be the ultimate control player.

      Getting kills is the objective...you control at least 2 pints and get a shit load of kills, that's how you get points for your team It's not call of duty where you cap a point and let time take its toll, capping points boosts the points you get for kills..if you cap all the points but get no kills , you'll lose

    • If I see one more post about this I swear I'm gonna shit a brick. Control is about kills. End of story. You get points for capping the zone the first time and following that you only get a bonus for kills based on how many flags you hold. THERE IS NO BONUS FOR HOLDING FLAGS UNLESS YOU GET KILLS. So running in to spawn kill the other team is the best strategy. They can't take flags if they're all dead in their spawn. The people who think they're helping the team by suiciding trying to cap flags over and over again are actually hurting the team. Negative kd equals you gave the other team more points than you gave your team.

            • in a recent match on rusted lands, we spawned A flag, capped, then rushed B. I went on a 10 kill streak by myself on B trying to cap it, going on and off flag alone...Teamates plz, let's cap 2 flags, then spawn trap for kills. (I died, we lost B)

              • IB is no different than PvP A bunch of idiots running around with a rocket launcher,a shotty, and a suros. Some invincible dudes running around thinking they are the best.(Yes the hack is out there) I tried to give it a chance last night but IB just proved to be just as stupid as PvP have fun to those that enjoy this. Just is not for everyone I guess.

              • I am more tired of people capping wrong or all zones, you only need two. And there are a few maps where capping a particular zone is a death sentence. As for levels, it is 3 levels to remain competitive, so 27+. And even then, the biggest thing here is weapons, if you have a 300 attack suros, Shadow price or anything you are good with for that matter you will do fine.

                What you have is a lot of people forced to play control. (Iron Banner)There is the biggest problem because some people don't want to play it and others that do. So you have a mix of DM,TDM and control players on the same team.My self it doesn't compliment my play style. But I understand that Control is about holding TWO points as long as your team can hold two points your team will win. There is no need to go after the third it will only force the enemy team a new spawn location which only puts one of your held points in jeopardy. Myself I hold one of the points or prevent the enemy team a path to one of the points.(I don't like extreme close quarters gameplay of Destiny because of fusion rifles one shot ability) players need to helpful to there team weather there the highly aggressive DM players, K/D minded TDM players or the objective minded CONTROL Players basically do not be a hindrance.
