No edits. Just beginning to end every nightfall. Every attempt if there are multiple.. I just want to watch how it is supposed to be done... Maybe others wouldn't mind watching as well.
You think they could take the challenge?
Edit:
Sorry for the length.
I agree they should do it with both difficulties of the raids as well... I want to hear the audio when the Praetorian gains his health back or when Atheons plasma ball goes through the relic shield and wipes the whole team when he has a sliver of health left.... that’s just a few bugs... we already know what they are.
This really was not about the loss of the "exploit" spot... In truth it just made it less convenient in beating the Archon Priest. The "exploit" was really a nice time saver. He will still die... it will just take a bit longer again.
But when they patched it. It did make me think... Bungie really seems to be interested in how we play their game and are quick to take action when we "don't meet project goals" or "don't do it their way". I thought that if they could just do a how too... we could see how they beat it we could see the correct way and then they could focus on more important things. but then it turned into a "Do they even play PVE?" and a "I really would like to see if they could and how many attempts it would take".
Also, The terms "exploit" or "cheesing" seems to be subjective to who is doing the talking. A person that would call hiding under the platform to kill the Archon will say that hiding out side of the logic, range and pathing limits of the AI is not an exploit. Then there is the side room to the left of Sepiks Prime. essentially the same thing as the platform.... you just don’t need to crouch to walk in and considered by most to not be a cheese or exploit... another example would be the hole in the back of the Dinklebot part of Sepiks Prime strike... IMO exploiting the limits of a weak AI is just as bad as exploiting map design that was unexpectedly more useful than originally thought.
I enjoy this game and put a lot of hours into it. I still very much enjoy it, albeit for completely different reasons now. Nothing in this game is really challenging. The thrill or challenge of "legit" is lost on me for now... I've done all the strikes and missions "legit" and soloed them as well a couple times over. Now I just want to get to the end and get my reward or weekly boost as fast as possible... the challenge being how fast can I do it not the how I do it.
So I'll probably use an "exploit" if its available unless I'm bored (I must say in PVE... PVP its just unfair and game ruining to other players..) or haven't yet beat it "legit". On repeat visits...whether I do it in 25 mins or 1.5 hours I still get the same reward... RNGesus still bends me over... almost every time. (Looking at you night fall and raid... respectively - 5 strange coins, all ascendant materials and icing on the cake in the form of a chatterwhite... how many times must you do this to me)
BTW when the new content comes out in a few weeks I will be on it and playing it "legit" and enjoying that for all it is worth... for the first few times through at least... after that all bets are off lol.
Remember: Smarter not harder

I wouldn't mind seeing it done also. I've beat everything "legit" as you kids would say but now I'm just wanting to finish it as quickly as possible. So if there is some cover area I can take I'm gonna take it. I don't understand how using your surroundings is anything close to an exploit or cheat. It is in the game, it is terrain and I'm using it wisely. Like an actual Guardian would do. The first 2-3 times through everything I've been out there running around, getting wiped, doing it again and beating it. Now my time is precious and I try to fit as much as possible in the little time I get.

I love to see them play the raid on hard and get put in a detainment shield while inside the portal. Or even better having two people teleported instead of three and trying to kill the Praetorian, Reginald the Regen Master.

I really wanna see a video.

Bungie uses all these cheap methods lol that's why they leave them in the game. Later on some guy throws atheon off the back of the map to show his family and friends. When the public finds it bungie takes it away but keeps their own cheese method because they have dozens on each map
-
Bump, because I'm honestly intrigued ;)
-
I want to see them solo nightfall now Bump
-
I also want to see them play through a raid and not get angry at any bugs.
-
Deej probably won't even reply to this,I'd be willing to bet

Bump for video!

Im all for removing those spots, but id also like to see a vid with them or anyone ramboing it with lightswitch and burn on. The nightfall just turns me into a run and hide sniper, which it boring, but i dont die.
-
The weekly and nightfall strikes should have matchmaking that would eliminate the need for cheese spots.
-
The nightfalls are the easiest part of the game in my opinion, I did earth with arc burn in 11 mins 28 secs without trying to do a speed run on my tutan. And I did the arkon priest with arc burn on my 25 warlock and I didnt have self res then and did it in about 30 mins
-
Agreed. Let's see how they do it. Oh, and you're not allowed to be level 30 to do the Nightfall. Do the Nightfall at level 28. Let us see how you do it. Yes, this is a dare.

i personally would love to be "shown how to do it" .. weekly.. by the devs that actually tamper w/ this game. I want to know that they actually have to experience the game they're coding. I want them to see the quirks, glitches, and WTF moments of the game they create. and if there's a better way to do things that's not considered "exploiting" - they should know what it is and should be able to offer us some helpful insight.
-
Agreed. I would love to see videos of how bungie intends this game to be played. Alas I feel this post will be another lost to the void.
that means deej won't comment and bungie doesn't give a rats ass. They have bigger problems to ignore and more ways to figure out how to make money.
A live stream would be cool

Why they haven't done this, is beyond me. Bungie is known for being one with their community, but it's seems it's been a little absent. There's no special event for Bungie Day, or Hump Day, and that's a little upsetting.

Yeah i'd like to see them fight the Archon priest without hiding with lightswitch, angry, and arc burn on the nightfall
