Try these troubleshooting tips, if you find yourself getting killed while in the bubble fighting Atheon.

(This guide is for the middle platform strategy) I cannot count how many times I have seen a post from players upset because the relic bubble is too buggy and everyone gets killed while inside of it. I understand your frustration, I have been there. However, from countless sifting through the forums and friendly suggestions from other players I have picked up a few troubleshooting tips that I would like to share with you, the community. Please feel free to add other comments, suggestions, and feedback to this thread and I will edit it to the best of my abilities. I am aware that many players have different strategies for how they approach the Atheon fight. All of them are good suggestions, use what works for you and your fire-team. If you have a method that works then by all means stick to that method. Changing strategies can cause a lot of confusion and frustration for fire-teams. 1. Relic holder should be first person on the platform and the last person off. Do not lower the shield until everyone is off the platform. Count down the Time's Vengeance, out loud preferably, from 5 so you teammates have time to bug out. 2. Relic holder should be to the right side of the platform, away from the wall to the left. Atheon's shots will hit the wall and cause splash damage through the bubble, thus resulting in a rage filled wipe of wtf just happened. 3. While in the bubble be aware of your surroundings! DO NOT bump into the relic holder, doing so will once again make everyone inside susceptible to splash damage....and more raging. While in the bubble activate your wonder twin powers and take the form of frickin' stone statue and don't move, just shoot! 4. Do not throw, vortex grenades, pulse grenades, solar grenades, nova bomb with vortex, or magical unicorn fart bubbles at Atheon. Doing so will cause him to back up or walk behind a slope making it more difficult for your fire-team members to shoot his soft spot. 5. I should not even have to mention this one but.....shooting rockets while inside the bubble = bad idea. Players with the Gjallahooha horn could probably benefit off to the the side or toward the back wall. You can jump out the bubble and shoot sure but Atheon is already going to be blasting away at the bubble, so it can be risky if you are not cautious. Use your own judgement and go with what works. 6. Please keep your arms, legs, butt and head inside the ride at all times. If part of you is sticking outside the back of the bubble you can still get hit by splash damage. I hope this post helps shed some light on a few of the buggy mechanics of the relic shield! Best of luck guardians!
