new weapons type you would like to see
I was gonna put more but I'm limited, it may be much to ask for but I would like to see it in future destiny games I doubt it would make it to this game but maybe the next couple. Well vote what you would like.

Fusion pistol. (Laser pistol so I can feel like Han Solo.)

Minigun. Like the one on Colossus' hands. Takes 2 agility away and yas like 200 shots per ammo belt. Slower and more powerfull than machine gun.

I'm personally hoping and praying for a Cabal raid with either a primary machine gun (unlikely and super OP) or an auto rifle with explosive rounds. Granted, neither would be a "new type" but frankly, I would like to see some new extremes among the current possibilities and varieties.

I wouldn't mind having a crossbow or compound bow with void or arc damage arrows for PVE. It would be fun running around and shooting dregs and acolytes with a bow. I'd give up a special or primary or even a heavy weapon spot for a bow.

Lever action cowboy rifle. Scout rifle with max impact 5 rounds, moderate to slow reload speed, highish rate of fire. I'm sure would be nerfed in crucible

1 ReplyI had a thread going a while back with some ideas, here's what I had. [b]Primary:[/b] SMG: Effective at Short - Medium Range, Low Damage but High RoF, Fully Automatic. Light Pistol: Effective at Most Ranges, Low to Medium Damage, Some Automatic, Some Semi-Automatic. [b]Special:[/b] Directed Energy Caster (Laser): Effective at All Ranges, No Ammo, Uses a Battery/Heat Mechanic. Hold Trigger to Fire. Melee Weapons: Close Range, No Ammo, Could have Special Perks Associated With It (Unique Super, Etc) [b]Heavy:[/b] Railgun: High Damage, but low Damage Zone, Could either use ammo or the Battery/Heat. Hold Trigger to charge/Fire. Grenade Launcher: Pretty much the same as the poll. Chainguns: Low Damage but extremely high RoF, Accuracy improves as firing continues.

I reckon pistols should be secondary, you got the sniper with his revolver, I want an auto rifle with a pistol sidearm combo. Just give pistols slightly larger clips and less damage then the revolver, but give it fast weapon swap and reload times with the largest ammo reserve of any secondary. It would be the weakest of all secondaries but would give that awesome moment when your rifle clip runs dry and instead of reloading you swap to finish them off with a headshot. Especially useful for those moments when the the enemy has a sliver of health and I swap to sniper to quickly finish them. It's a waste of a good sniper bullet.
