Angry at exotic engram from Xûr >:(

I buy a exotic engram from Xûr expecting the result to be for the only lvl20+ character I have, a titan. But instead it turns into a warlock head >:(
Not happy to spend all my motes for an armour I'll probably never use >:(
I'd be happier if there were some kind of trading system which allowed me to trade it for something I'd actually use, but that's not there either. This really puts me off the game altogether. It's just not cool. Seriously.
Who else thinks you should be able to lock engrams to your character/ choose which character / be able to trade?

10 RepliesNow, firstly, this was written straight after getting it, so I was pretty pissed off. Secondly, the reason why I am so pissed off is that I no longer have copious amounts of time on my hands as I am a university student studying to become a secondary teacher (years 7-12 in Australia). I was on a break which allowed me to speed through the early levels with friends, and we were going to raid when we had time, but first we have to get to a suitable level (they started before me and are all level 30, and want to do level 30 raids which I am not allowed to join atm). So this is a large drawback as I do not have the time to grind motes and strange coins (in the few ways possible). So yes, I am being a bit of whiny baby, but there is reason to it.

The tooltip for the engram clearly states that the armour piece will be random for ANY class. You were forewarned before you purchased.

Keep it in the vault as if you ever decide to make a warlock you already have something thats what happened to me i bought 2 exotic gaunlet engrams and got no back up plans and youn ahmakara spine i think thats the name but im a warlock so on my 3rd i got my sunbreakers dame with the heads i have a titan head the one with mohawk and some legs for it i had a full set for a hunter so i made one since my warlock its lvl 30 now so when my hunter its level 30 or 32 i will make a titan.

3 RepliesThis happened to me (I'm a warlock) and you know what I did? I burst out laughing with my boyfriend. We tease each other incessantly if one gets screwed or one gets something awesome. Laugh. Much better than pouting.

Funniest thing is that's the exact opposite of what happened to me last week. I'm a warlock and got a titan helmet. I don't mind though. I got some rather decent gear I'm saving for a titan and hunter when I feel like starting them.
