I know this debate has come up before, perhaps I should have posted on one of the countless posts... Who am I kidding, I hope when you woke up (Europeans) or stayed up extra late in some cases elsewhere, you rushed towards Xur, raced around the tower, found him in the last place you looked, then when that smile crept across your face as you finally spotted him you went over to access his inventory and the second you saw The Last Word Nelson Muntz appeared to mock you ☺️
So, to my point! I want to know why an "Earner" is more entitled to a weapon than a "Xurner"?
"Earner", tell me, how did you "earn" your exotic weapon? Perhaps as a Nightfall reward? Possibly (more likely) from a legendary engram you acquired from killing a level 2 Dreg in The Divide?
A "Xurner" deserves more than an "Earner". They grind harder. They have more patience. They most likely don't hate when fortune favours a self entitled "Earner" who through dumb luck obtained their weapon. If you got an exotic and you don't classify yourself as an "Earner" and aren't smug about it, congratulations, I wish you the best of luck Guardian! May the Traveller favour you for eternity! Be happy for other people to obtain something they have hoped for weeks to have, do not be jealous.
Do not be jealous!!!
Instead do the raid on hard mode and truly "Earn" weapons and gear that not everyone is capable of getting.
Now do us a favour and go cry on Mars, help us "Xurners" who actually put in more hard work with a favour, collecting your Tears! Then again, they wouldn't be Olympus Tears, they'd be "little bitch" tears...
