I was playing in a series of strikes today (level 4) and I could not access any of my ammo synthesis consumables, despite the inventory number being reduced and placing me on the expected 5 minute cooldown. This happened repeatedly with all three colors. If this were a pinball GAME then I would ask for my money back. EDIT: 12/01/2014 - Its happening again. Lost 8 purple ammo synth credits (at 950 each) yesterday. Ammo Synth purchases ended up taking 2 slots in my inventory when I got to 20 - it started from # one in another cube for consumables. I couldn't use them because even though the inventory went down by one and the codlin started, my ammo count in the weapon remained at zero. Now I am simply trying to go to the Tower and I am timing out, getting a message that no other players could be found to join the fire team, but WTF? I am only going to the Tower - then it told me that I must be signed on to XBL in order to play Destiny, citing "NEWT" as the error code reference.
