Does the game not live up to the hype that was generated about it? Not entirely, no. Is it still an incredibly fun game? Yes. Did I expect a more in depth story line than what I got? Yes. Was I disappointed? Yes. But you know what, even with these and all the other flaws, it's still a very fun game.
To all the people who complain about not being to access vendors and bounties from each map or your ship: think about. The storyline, as it stands is all about pushing back the darkness and reclaiming territory. Of course there aren't going to be outposts or settlements. As for the ship thing, idk, idc. I like it this way, but that doesn't mean my way is the right way.
To the people who complain about the RNG: I feel your pain. That is all.
To everyone who posts about the game sucking, or that they already sold it: stop posting on the forums if you can't do anything but complain, man. I'm sorry that you feel like you wasted your money, but stop making it that much worse for the rest of us. I get on the forums, and all I see is bitching.
In closing, no, Destiny does not have a perfect multiplayer system, and is not on par with Skyrim, Fallout, or Mass Effect in terms of story. But it's still a darn good game.
That's my two cents.

This... Game is baller

I have fun, I don't expect anything for the RNG so I grind to buy legendaries and exotics and any drops are a bonus. I like the game but I understand what a lot of the complaints are about. Grinding is a grind, content is small, gamer should have more value than a money-jar to pluck from, etc etc. That being said, it's got huge potential and I'm excited for the day they realize that potential!

That's why I smoke weed when I play destiny. It breaks up the tedious hours of boring ass grinding and farming and puts some pep in the step. When sober: I see the game for what it really is, a shell of a game that is filled with broken promises, is updated weekly with broken promises, and every time something truly broken needs to be fixed (like the atheon fight on hard) bungie comes out of left field with "more bounty slots!" "Here's more watered down content!" I'm done defending this game. I'm done striving for perfection while the worst player on the fireteam gets the awesome drops. There's no reward for greatness, and that's why you have people who cheese the raid boss. (Also cause fighting him normally with no glitches is the rarest thing in the game)

I do not hate this game. I will say if it wasn't for my friends I would no longer be playing it though.

nobody wants your two cents, nor does anyone care about whatever opinions caused you to create this completely useless thread. I don't hate the game, I hate the dumbass players.

Its fun, but theres a limit to how much bs one should take. Don't bend over for them, so most call out obvious flaws which there is nothing wrong in doing....laggggg is my biggest grip >:T

Am i critical of some aspects? Yes. Do i love it? Yes.

I'm giving up because I'm getting out of the game every 5 minutes ... -blam!- this game had this game since midnight release and never got kicked servers until now

Friggin love it to death

Edited by XiX GhOsTx XiX: 11/12/2014 2:59:30 AMI enjoy playing Destiny quite a bit. I just feel like there's a lot of common sense things that should be fixed. It appears that they are worried about fixing things that aren't broke before fixing the things that are actually broke. And that's irritating to me. I'll continue play though, until something else tickles my fancy or none of my friends play any longer. Edit: I see you haven't ran the raid yet, you should get on doing so, I think it might give you an idea as to why so many people are upset. I hope for your sake that you're one of the people that gets all the gear they need in the first 3-4 runs!
