First and foremost this is not a troll post. I can vouch that all of MY information posted is 100% legit. HOWEVER, comments posted by others may not be valid, so keep that in mind. This post is created to address whether we have really TRULY uncovered all the Vault has to offer. Theories, guides, etc will be posted and I may edit when I come across something interesting. [b]Myth 1:[/b] Killing enough Gorgons unlocks something new? [i]BUSTED[/i] In a raid group, we pushed the Templar off of the edge to obtain the bonus chest. When we killed it, we ran to find the chest we unlocked, and another member of the group (who had already gotten it that week) ran to the maze. What we didn't realize at the time was that if someone was in the maze, the bonus Templar chest would de-spawn, so I was not able to get it. We moved on, and decided to attempt [i]to kill all the Gorgons[/i], partly for Grimoire and to test this myth. However, we encountered something strange. [b]Since I was the relic holder, the Gorgon's Gaze only killed ME. The rest of the group was immune, and they could take their time killing them without worrying about death[/b]. We managed to kill about [b]ten Gorgons[/b] before they became near invincible (due to the health and defense increase upon each death) and nothing happened. No magical sounds, no cutscenes, nothing. If a door opened, we did not find it. Further myths abs theories will be added upon investigation. I have no intention of no-lifing the raid until something magical happens, so I am also depending on the community to supply information. [b]NO TROLLING, don't be a *blam!*[/b] We're counting on all of you to uncover the secrets of the raid. ------ [b]EDIT 1[/b] [b]Myth 2:[/b] The Relic is somehow used in other areas besides the Templar and Atheon fights and does something super secret! [i]BUSTED[/i] Here is some evidence I found recently: [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/77897820/0/0/0/0]Various tricks using the Relic[/url] This person has done multiple things using the relic, including cleansing Gorgons and bringing the shield to the mysterious lonely timegate within the jumping puzzle. I have to admit that's some pretty good evidence there. Most of my personal theories have revolved around the Relic, and this post had shot down almost all of them. Back to the drawing board guys!
