The class you started with, and the class you play now.
I got into Destiny entirely by accident. Being Canadian, I went into Walmart to pick up my copy of NHL 15 to feed my hockey obsession. Walking through the department store, I recalled my friend telling me how much fun he'd been having playing Destiny and how much he thought I'd enjoy it. With curiosity and cash to burn, I picked up both games. Needless to say, I've played NHL 15 three times since purchasing it.
I didn't play the Destiny beta, so I went into this game completely blind. I've also never played a FPS online before, and for weeks I was scared to play the Crucible and interact with people online (I'm still not fantastic at PVP but damn, it sure is fun!) I sat in the menu screen, looked at the 3 classes available and immediately picked the Hunter. The cloak was just too badass for me - plus, throwing knives?! I was in!
I worked hard and pushed my Hunter to level 20 and beyond. I tried the Raid at level 26 with him and failed. I tried PVP with him and failed. I just couldn't get a hang of the play style it required and I felt discouraged. I decided to try a different class in the hopes to find something I'd be more comfortable playing as. And thus, my first Titan was created.
From the minute I upgraded lift and Ward of Dawn (I started off as a Defender as I enjoy playing support) I felt much more at home with the Titan class. Tanky, bulkier, slower. To me, it felt so right. I upgraded both subclasses completely and use them both equally depending on my teammates needs. I found myself dying less, helping more, and even improving in PVP which was something I thought I'd never do. Recently, I've started a Warlock just to get a feel of that, but again, I feel most comfortable with my Titan(s). I feel like Bungie succeeded in making classes that feel extremely different and unique to play, and believe there really is a class for everyone. If one doesn't suit you, you can try another until you find where you feel most comfortable.
So my questions to you are: Did you start with the class you currently play? Which class is your favourite? Your least favourite? Which class makes you feel most comfortable?

Then made a hunter. Like the titan but hunter makes me feel like a real assasin with chain of woa, golden guns/knifes/ cloak/blade dancing! Titan is business. Hunter for fun.

I started as a titan but utterly in love with my hunter and cant stand playing warlock but i want the achievement

That said... everytime I play the other classes I immediatly miss my Knives, trance, and most importantly Triple Jump (AKA Immunity to all damage caused by Atheon)

Started with Hunter (now level 30) enjoyed the fact that it had buffs like Chain of Woe and Gunslinger's Trance Then went to Warlock (now level 30) heard about hard raid and no respawning and that you can self revive Finally went to Titan (now level 29) my friends told me how badass the titan is with its fists of havoc.

...started with Hunter, mostly cuz i like to keep distance, still playing pretty much just Hunter, although i've started Lock, but i guess its gonna take me ages to get him anywhere near 27/28 where it would allow me to get the Raid rewards twice a week

Started with a warlock. Have 3 30 warlocks. Just deleted one last night to make a titan. Wish I had made titan from the start. Look cool, fun to play, man mode

Started with a titan, made a hunter and then another titan (to double my chances at raid gear). Deleted the second titan to make a warlock, got the achievements for maxing out hunter/warlock subclass and deleted them both. Then made another titan again, with no plans at remaking either of the other classes.

Started as hunter, now levelled warlock to 25, and I am very impressed by it! The nova bomb, I mean WTF! If something is op in this game (and I don't say there is!!) it's that, but so much fun. Don't know which one I will play more, at the moment the warlock, but the knife and invisability of the hunter... I guess the hunter will stay my favourite. And it's girl! And I like girls more ;-)

I'm even thinking of making an effort to play the others less... Outside of weeklies, Nightfalls and raids. And my last exotic bounties. That said, though I like Warlock more as a class, I think I enjoy Defender Titan more. I do love supporting with Ward of Dawn... But I most enjoy doing my Hunter thing.

Started as a Titan. Maxed both. Then started a Hunter got him to 18. Spend most of my time rocking my Titan.

1 ReplyStarted as a titan, leveled it up to level 28. Started noticing warlocks and their abilities. Switch to ss warlock, sacrificed my titan for shards, deleted titan, and havnt looked back since. Now I got an up and coming gunsinger hunter but ehhhh, I prefer warlock. Just love the grenades and the abilities of ss warlock too much

I started on hunter, now I've got the other two at 30, but hunter stuck at 29. I still prefer my hunter. Only do Titan/Warlock for pvp grimoire though

I had a huge debate with myself about which class to start with. I eventually settled on Warlock. In hindsight, I was incredibly lucky. I started a half-assed Hunter and Titan, and then promptly deleted the hunter. I'll probably delete the Titan soon too. Something just feels off when I use other classes. Sure, lift typically gets you higher than glide, but the latter is just so damn useful. I maxed out voidwalker and then converted to a Sun Bro. Never look back.

Started with Warlock, did not play beta, and now I've played all three classes. Warlock is the only one of the three that I feel very comfortable on. My second would be my Titan, never got into the Hunter (apart from the esthetic appeal).

In full game (and I feel ridiculous calling it a full game): *Hunter to +20 *Started on a Titan *Deleted titan around lvl 12, got bored *Rolled a second Hunter and took it to +20 *Rolled a warlock (because cheese) and took it to +20 *Deleted one Hunter to make room for a Titan achivement run *Rolled Titan and maxed out a tree *Deleted Titan *Re-rolled 2nd Hunter So five characters to +20 on the same account and I raided with all of them at one point.

Started with Titan, still love it. Just finished Hunter for the trophy, once I finish thorn on the Hunter I'll delete it to make a warlock. Once that's done it's just me and my titan.

I play them all. Started with my Titan and got it to 30. It's my main so I'd say Titan is my favorite class then warlock of course.
