New Warlock Legendary Armor Guide (Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, FWC, Crucible, and Warlock Vanguard Comparison)

Video above is my second Destiny commentary, with PvP Tips and Tricks! Check it out and leave some feedback! Titan Legendary Armor Guide: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/77837285 Hunter Legendary Armor Guide: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/69630734/0/0/1 Auto Rifle Breakdown: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/74065724 What's up guys? I'm Mercules, and some of you may recognize me from my Legendary Armor Guide I made for all the Hunter players. I decided to make a Legendary Armor Guide for the Warlock class too, since I just started a one, so it could help me pick which items in the tower I wanted to buy from the vendors. The thing is, each vendor sells two of every type of armor, and they all help to boost certain stats. So I figured I could list them all out for you here, so that you don't have to run around back and forth between the vendors to check it out! Turns out the armor is the same for all classes of player with every vendor, except the class gear and stuff you get from your own mentor, and the Crucible stuff. What I would suggest doing is copying this to Word, and then going through each set of armor and highlighting the ones you would like, both for PvP and PvE, using different colors, and then begin dat grind baby! Enjoy! Also, one clarification, this is for Warlocks only! All armor shown is exclusive to the Warlock class! I will try to make a Titan one as soon as I can. My Hunter Armor Guide is linked at the top. Thanks for the support ! Couple notes, in parentheses beneath each armor piece are some letters and numbers. They stand as follows: First D is always Defense (initial/fully upgraded). These numbers are the same for all items of each type, regardless of vendor. As such, the Defense of a fully decked out, Legendary armored played would max at 1,352 Defense. After that: L is Light (increases your light level, but starts at 18 for every item, so you will have 72 light when you equip all Legendary armor, before upgrades) I is Intellect (decreases time between Super usages) D is Discipline (decreases time between Grenade usages) S is Strength (decreases time between melee usages) Some people said on my Hunter guide that the ammo upgrades that you get for each chest and leg armor piece are different for them. I'm not sure why this is, as mine all still match up correctly. However, so you know, all dropped items have random attributes. This guide is for vendor sold items only! Just be careful when you buy, check to make sure it's what you want. Also, don't trust the mobile app, it's wrong! Helmets New Monarchy: 1. I think there's been updates to the armor stats so I've gone ahead and updated your list, hope you don't mind. I only updated the I, D and S (and included the starting and maximum values) since they were the main things that were altered (secondary abilities remain the same). The light and armor rating seem to also have been changed but I didn't bother there since all the factions have the same ratings for the same category of armor. By the way, the names of the armor for Vanguard and Crucible factions seem to be totally different now (and after some googling, even different in appearance). Their general stats remain the same though in regards to the secondary abilities. It's a shame though since I really liked how the Nerigal Savant III chest armor looked and its abilities but it seems that now I can't get it anymore. The Dusk Tread III which is what seems to have replaced the Nerigal Savant III has the same abilities but it looks quite plain IMO. If anyone has any suggestions for getting the Nerigal Savant III now then please let me know. Anyways, here's the updated stats: Helmets New Monarchy: 1. Justicar's Hood - Melee hits replenish Grenade energy, more Super energy from Grenade kills (D 280/372, L +18, I +51/57, S +52/58) 2. • How do these compare to the exotics that are available? For example, I am primarily a voidwalker (trying to level my sunsinger so i can get the self-rez super) but a friend told me to get Sunsinger gauntlets from Xur. It looks like they give a ton of light and could push my overall level up but they don't match with my primary ability. Any advice for a warlock looking at exotic armor?

              • GOD FUCKING DAMMIT I spent quite a few HOURS doing this on my own, and it wasn't even as nice and organized as yours. It's too bad after level 30 this armor is useless, and then when the second raid comes out the VoG armor is useless... Or so I hear. I hope that isn't true.

                      • The thing is, when it comes to some people's items being different, you can also find any of these and they will have different upgrades than the ones in each Faction store. For example, my Calling Scout Rifle is nothing like the one in the FWC store, as I've also gotten FWC armor from them and in the field that doesn't match up what is sold. However, when it comes to strictly what is sold, then yes, I believe these should all match up. Otherwise there is something up with Bungie giving different items to different people from the same public store.

                        • Just to add a bit of a pointer as well, most people go FWC for warlocks because I + D is much more helpful than S for most uses.
