My Opinion is:
Warlock = easy
Titan = normal
Hunter = hard
This option is in the view from someone who has played all three classes and plays 95% pve. A titan first, then a warlock, and finally a hunter.
What would you rate the classes in terms of difficulty?
Edit 1: I enjoy the feedback!
Edit 2: I rate these based on subclasses obviously. I can see how the Titans and hunters could be switched but I still think warlock was easiest.
Edit 3: this is in view of a pve playstyle. Please feel free to share pvp playstyle opinions.
Edit 4: S4VICK provided a good example of how warlocks have huge strengths in pvp despite this being a pve post. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9UehX5LHy-A

The difference between the 3 is so little that it hardly makes a difference. Here's the thing, warlock revive is great and all for PVE but it's relatively useless if I'm playing conservative. I can't help kill minotaurs or majors/ultras faster + generate orbs for team, I can't crowd control; all I can do is prevent a wipe...which is great but if your team is competent, no need. Of course, if you play as void walker, you can output some heavy damage which is great but hardly anyone risk it in PVE. Titan and Hunters have their own uses. Titan's weapons of light is great for bursting down bosses, other than that, the bubble hinders more than it helps half the time. Hunters' golden gun is great at clearing harder enemies and crowd clear (versatile). It's not as good as nova and fist but you can aim if from afar. The specials only comes now and then, not really that crucial in the grand scheme of things. PVP, I find each has their own eccentricities that make them good. Hunters are obviously the choice here as arc blade/golden gun is generally a great special when used at the right time. Fist is good if people would stop wasting it on 1 guy lolz (same with nova). Bubble works great in control while revive in pvp is great as well to surprise flank your opponent. In the end, guns kill more than specials and grenade so there's that. It doesn't really matter what class you're using; specials will net you a total of 5 kills (plus/minus) while your gun is going to get the other 20.

Sunsinger: Easy Defender: Easy Voidwalker: Normal Striker: Normal Gunslinger: Normal Bladedancer: Hard
-
My opinion is Titan: punch punch punch Warlock: Magic Magic Magic Hunter: Snipe Snipe Snipe
-
I agree that Warlock was easier for me, as they have so many AoE attacks that make fighting groups easy. being a Titan is a little harder as a Defender, and being a Hunter requires you to be good with precision weapons (but a skilled hunter is a force to be reckoned with!)
-
I honestly did not enjoy playing with a Hunter or a Warlock, just didn't fit my play style at all.
-
hunter is not hard imo. hell, when I went back to my titan from hunter, the movement was so slow and clunky compared to hunter that my titan felt like he was c3po.
-
For me, warlock = titan = hunter = easy, in both PvP and PvE :) Well, my hunter has less luck acquiring raid gear though.
-
Trying to decide which class is hardest to play is like trying to decide which kind of milk is the spiciest.
-
Warlock has survivability with the Sunslinger class. Having Fire Shield and self rez they can be careless and keep going. Titan Defender can bubble in SHTF situations Hunter has not fall back defense. Its all about how you play. My main is a hunter and it fits my play style. I feel that the Hunters Supers can be weak in PvE I wish I could Crit with the golden gun.
-
Warlocks are not easy mode. Warlocks take just as many hits to die, and can inflict just as much damage
-
i agree with u hunters are hard thats why we have so many noob hunters out there.
-
They are all the same it just depends on how your skills as a player is
-
You have it backwards lol. Titan = easy, hardest to kill Hunter = normal, medium armor Warlock =hard, easiest to kill, least armor Other than this guns are all the same. Abilities are pretty similar as well damage wise. With titan you can rush into a mob Rambo style and live to tell the tale. Hunters you can sometimes but warlocks you can never do this until you get well geared in late game. They just die too easy. With a hunter you have to be somewhat careful, warlocks you'll need to be more careful.
-
My opinion is those are backwards. Hunter is the easiest.
-
Ive only finished a Hunter and Warlock playthough but found one to be no more difficult then the other. I do prefer glide over double jump however.
-
I have a blade dancer that feels much easier to use than a warlock. But they're all easy in their own respects.
-
Other than cheesing, I really feel like my hunter has been the easiest to do the raid with. I think my Titan is the hardest to use sometimes, even though that was my first and most played class. Warlock sunsinger is amazing for nightfall, though.
-
I play all 3 classes and while the defender subclass isn't close to fully leveled yet, I will say I find titan the hardest for me and Hunter easiest but close with both warlock classes. All in all its just a playstyle thing. I find the supers for titan hard to use effectively but I've seen people as titan make things look simple. I do see way more warlocks around it seems
Edit 4: S4VICK provided a good example of how warlocks have huge strengths in pvp despite this being a pve post. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9UehX5LHy-A
after watching the video I assume you are joking .... because of their super? really? is a wash in pvp in regards to who has the best super. all do well at different things and it depends how you use them. stick with comparing difficulty in pve

Edited by achwassolls: 11/11/2014 12:45:41 PMi play all three classes and i think the hunter is Easy mode because you can just get invisible and run past all enemies. me and my friends always make the same joke : "see you guys", followed by a invisible hunter running through the entire strike/mission without killing any enemies. leaving titan and warlock behind to kill all the enemies while laughing manically. (we all do that and since we change all classes, everyone can do this once )
-
If they didn't have self rez, then Sunsingers would definitely get moved up from easy, but that ability is amazing.
-
For PvE!? All are easy.
-
They all have pros and cons and can best each other one way or another. Warlock void kills blade dancer or Titan shield. Golden gun kills void warlock( if shot during its animation) and Titan shield. Titan smash can do the same with arc and its own shield. The pros are what you like in the character as in stats and abilities.
-
[This has been debunked]
-
My main is a hunter, and everything seems easier as a blade dancer. Gunslinger is all right, but my second character is a titan defender, and that can be pretty difficult with having some pretty weaker grenades and your super can backfire against you.
-
As a Warlock, I can safely say this is absolutely true. We're just good at everything.
