Okay guys... you don't want any advice, then please go ahead... go about your game. Tried to help but most of you are on your own high horse and don't even see my point of view. Bungie Moderators... please delete this threat or lock it. Last time I offer advice or help to others, only to be bitched and called an dick. Most of the posters didn't even read it. By the way guys, Moderators are watching this thread, over 30 posts have been removed by the moderators on their own accord. Have fun knowing you are being watched now.

1 ReplyYou have a lot of good suggestions on random invite etiquette, but might I suggest a title that is a little less pretentious, and cutting the Lv 30 boasting. Everyone understands that you have to be good to raid, but there is a modicum of luck in getting a raid set, don't oversell it. That said, nice to see a positive post encouraging people to invite high level randoms for VoG/Nightfall/etc.

You earn your respect, I respect plenty more 29s too who have been unlucky with their drops. Six raid completions, with none being on Hard Mode post patch does not earn my respect even if your level 30, just shows you were lucky with RNG. You have 1 character at Level 30 after 6 completions. I have 1 character at Level 30 after 55 Raid Completions. Am I bothered? Not particularly, I already feel like I have earned my respect with the people I play with, I can hold my own on my Level 29 characters perfectly fine, it seems you can't even hold your own on 30 if you can't clear Atheon on Hard Mode post patch.

I certainly don't care if a level 30 in Destiny respects me or not. Game rank has nothing to do with respect, given or earned. Treat people as you want to be treated in life, regardless of status or rank. It's almost impossible for your post to not come off as elitist to the majority of forum members. If you removed the whole level 30 self-segregation in your post, it would still have some good advice. Just something for you to reflect on. There is no rank among peers here, and virtual rank should not alter behavior (though clearly it can). I hear what you're saying, it's just that the message got lost a bit due to how it was presented.

I wonder how many times you had to do it to get to 30. Must have been less than 6. Who the hell is going to ask if they can inspect your gear? Nobody needs your permission.
