Formal Complaint: Matchmaking Broken Dear Bungie advisor, I have had numerous problems with connectivity and launching the game since first buying Destiny. It is getting to be ridiculous. This evening (07/11/2014), the matchmaking was broken again. This is the third time this has happened to me. I launch a strike but no other players appear with me. I launch crucible and the matchmaking circle keeps spinning indefinitely. There is no error code box. I have full wireless connection and am able to play other on-line games without any problems. My brother plays on the same console and encounters no problems while playing Destiny. I however have frequently encountered errors and disconnects. I can assure you, it has nothing to do with connectivity on my end. The wireless is always excellent in my household with full connectivity for all devices 99% of the time. Other friends appear on-line on the Xbox Live and I am able to message them and join a party if I so choose. I am simply not able to play your game due to matchmaking problems. I am very disappointed by all of these problems and errors and would like to make a formal complaint in writing. I would also like to see all errors resolved as soon as possible. I believe this game had both an alpha and a beta. Surely such problems should have been encountered, anticipated and dealt with before launch? I would rather wait longer for the game to come out to ensure quality, than be given a shell of a game with a plethora of problems. I very much enjoy playing the game when it works. It is the best FPS I’ve ever played with beautiful graphics and artistry. However, I have paid good money for a game I am often unable to play. This is simply unacceptable. I am sure that it is not your fault in particular, but it is a fault with the Bungie servers and service in general. Gamers, such as myself, who have experienced these errors (and from a cursory glance at the Help Forum, it would seem that a great many have), should be given some form of compensation. We have paid for a game riddled with bugs and errors. Please message me the relevant details so that I can make a formal complaint to your manager and please resolve these problems as soon as possible.
