Raid Matchmaking? Yes or No
Should there be matchmaking for the raid? Yes or No? No in between answers or "Yes but ......"
YES = matchmaking, just matchmaking, no filters, options, or kicking. Matchmaking as it is in the strike playlist now.
NO = no matchmaking
IF YOU SAY "YES MATHCMAKING BUT WITH......" YOUR ANSWER SHOULD BE NO BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT MATCHMAKING THE WAY IT IS
If matchmaking was made available it would be just like the current strike playlist matchmaking. No filters, options, or kicking.
If it is kept the same then raid and weekly strikes will continue without matchmaking.
Those are your options.

I dont know whether I've got good luck or you all just hate everyone else you play with if they dont do something you wanted them to do, but seriously, get over it. it's an online game, what do you expect? additionally some people, like myself, dont have a lot (or anyone) to play the raids with and not everyone wants to go online just to find people to play with. A hell of a reason I dont is because it seems everyone here gets way too butthurt if someone doesnt know what they're doing, so how could I ever enjoy a big part of the game if everyone I try and play it with would just get angry at me? another point. if you dont want to play with randoms, then dont! did anyone say you had to? no. presumably a lot of those who are saying no already have friends to play it with or they find people online, so why not just keep doing that? a full fireteam wont allow any matchmaking to occur, correct? also, if you're saying about having an option to turn it off... why? seriously? are you gonna play it alone or something? oh hey, look, it's a wild point! if people want to TRY (better phrase, is attempt) the raid, why cant they? because they'll fail? well oh dear, that will ruin your game, wont it? no, not at all. nobody said you had to play it this way, nobody from bungie said "you're only allowed to play the raid, not try it." either. have you even thought that people had TRY the raid the first ever time because NOBODY knew what the hell to expect? didnt think so. it's seriously not fair for all those people who dont want or know they can come online to do it (dont say it's stupid if they dont know, that's like saying "how can you not like blah blah? wtf?" not everyone knows everything). it's also not fair to have a game mode which sounds like one of the most enjoyable things to play (even if it is extremely hard) and have at least 50% of players not play it. might as well have kept playing the beta, just multiplayer repeatedly or play the strike epeatedly. that's what the full game is like, repeating strikes and then some multiplayer with all those people who've completed the raids with their fully upgraded exotic weapons that sometimes you can barely compete with... just a with a few more things added...

I say yes but not the way it is. Needs to have a filter which requires you to have a mic connected. There really isn't an excuse to not have one on the current gen. Both consoles come with a a mic and ear piece in the box.

No. It's a useless system (look at the sh*t-show that is the strike playlist) that's just going to weigh the game down with useless code and create more networking issues than already exist.

Nope, people will afk for loot, try to do it with no mics, not have a clue what's going on and there will be atleast one 27 trying to join in. Add it if you want but I won't be a part of it.

For the people that say no to raid match making, you obviously don't need it or will use it as communication via mic and knowing you have a team of people who want to do it is important to you. So why do you care so much? If it has a negative impact, it will only affect the people using it (making people who were communicating and playing properly, move on and setup a game with the players who were playing it seriously). If you don't want it, don't use and have no reason to complain or be against it. Continue to play with friends or find a group on forums. But match making for raid makes no difference to anyone but the people who use it. Yes I think filters would be a must, so people can pick the kind of person they would be paired up against. But if you set filters too high, you risk not finding a raid. But ultimately if its a feature you want, you will use it. The rest of us will go to the forums, like we have been for the last 3 months and not worry that we are being matched with someone who is afk.

I would prefer not to. The 3 man matchmaking in strikes is bad enough. The potential for the amount of trolling in a 6 man group is infinite

It's almost impossible to do crotas end with scrubs(the legit way). But with the new cheese methods, I've carried my 27 friends and got them 2 pieces of raid gear

Matchmaking would be good to add, though not without filters or certain group requirements that need to be met. The current system now works better, just use Destinylfg.net to get groups.

No. If Strike matchmaking has proven anything, it's that People A) are prone to leave or go ACL at any time, and B) NO ONE uses mics. You have to have communication in the raid, imagine trying to figure out Oracles without anyone calling them out, or Atheon without knowing where they went ( I know you can use the minimap, but that's not an exact science

I don't understand why there are so many people against match making. All we do is out source it through other people to get it. How many people actually use a fireteam they know or more than once. You run the same risk of getting people on your team that don't know what they are doing. Also if you don't want to do the match making you still don't have to. You can create your fireteam in the same way you do now so it would affect you.
