Posted by: Stitchs Wow its really sad, I used to have so much eq and got rid of almost all of it over the years...I can brag about what I used to have. Guitars: - Ibanez K-7, pieced together using different American / Mexican components (much cheaper $). - Fender Jagstang, limited edition sundown orange - Kramer Focus 3000, installed a floyd rose bridge, raised humbucker and gain switch - my first guitar from the guitar player in Ash Groove now known as "Plus Size Model" www.psmseattle.com - Hollow body Hagstorm tx - RG series Ibanez, can't rember what model number, it was mid quality locking tuners but a -blam!- bridge. - Gibson Ep, acoustic. Really cheap $100 at a pawn shop. Speakers: - Fender twin half-back - Messa Boogie hald stack (still have it, will never give it up) - Peavy Express 112 amp Effects: Really too many to list, I had so many damn pedals. I'm a Korn fan and after I read that they used over 200 on Life is Peachy, I started buying them up left and right. I used to go to all of the guitar stores in the Seattle area and even look for pedal that were broken, or really didn't sound like any of the other ones so I had my own unique sound. That was before any of the digital boards were really worth the price. My favorite had to be the Cry baby wah and my line 6 FX board.
My guitar makes sound ^_^

Ah, the guitar. Great instrument. I've only been playing for four years. I use Elixer strings on my Strat, and I just recently got a Les Paul for my birthday. I haven't had it long enough to replace the stock parts though. I'm thinking about EMG pickups and elixer strings. I have a Digitech amp modeler, 4 effect pedals, and a Fender 15 watt amp. Not much, but it works.
-
Yea, i've been playing for 4 years. I have an Ibanez, A fender, 3 ovations, a Spider amp, and random crap that goes with it. EDIT: I use Elixer strings for all my guitars. The Ibanez is electric, and so is the fender. and the ovations are Aucustic(sp?) EDIT #2: Damn, sorry for all the edits, but i also play Bass, Drums, Piano, and Mandolin. I play a bit of guitar (I have a 40 year-old Gibson acoustic that I got from my mom and she got from my grampa - it is so nice). And well anyway basic bass playing is fairly easy to pick up if you play guitar.
-
My best friend plays bass and he's a pimp to begin with and he doesn't tell anyone he plays the bass. But whenever he does mention that to girls they are always like "Oh...bass..." and he gets really pissy.
-
Too many people play Guitar. No one plays Bass. And I can tell you from personal experience, girls dig bass players more.....
Posted by: the slayer45 I've been playing since last christmas. I have a fender stratocaster. I crybaby orignal and a DS-1 distortion pedal.
Man, i hate you!!! actually, i'm only jealous of all this -blam!- cuz i've only got my sister's -blam!- guitar an i've been playing for as long as you
-
I play Bass. I'm not to good, but I'm in a ceappy band, so the girls dig me!!! [Edited on 11/25/2004 6:10:19 PM]

I have a pretty basic Epiphone that I've been playing with since part-way through summer.
-
I've been playing for about 3 years now, I play at least 2 hours every day along with Halo 2 which can really take away time from other things. But alas the guitar calls to me and I cannot resist the urge. I've got your average Fender Stratocaster and some small chitty amp but the equipment doesn't reflect how well you can actually play. Most of the people I know who have all these nice guitars for like $1000 bucks spend more money than time playing, therefore making them suck balls.

yeah, i play the guitar. i've only been playing since June. I have a Montana acoustic guitar.
-
Like the random pointlessness of the above reply. Oh and i dont play either. Have friends who do, but i dont.
