I am a "Xurner" and I'm damn proud about it. I'm sorry that you can't be that special snowflake. You might want to think of better ways to waste your time rather than pounding your fist on the floor and flailing.
I guess in a way, I "earned" my Hawkmoon by grinding Tigerstrikes and was randomly blessed by the RNGesus.
If Xur was to sell the Hawkmoon (despite the console exclusiveness) next week, would I whine?
Hell no. In what way does this entitle me to a piece of loot that has a % chance to drop like everything else?
EDIT: I should have said that both is an answer. My personal opinion is WHO CARES, in case no one got what I was siding with.

No such thing. You have to earn coins just like everything else, they aren't given to you freely nor are they on the vendors to buy. It's the difficulty in earning that varies. Coins are by far easier to come by than raid drops or legendary drops period, let's not talk about Exotics. Xur is in place to help the casuals gear up, people who don't have the time to grind ten hours a night or more in hopes of a legendary drop.
