This kind of thing wouldn't have to be such a big deal, we've seen timed exclusives like this before. But to make it for an entire year? What's the point of sticking around that long just to experience a 30 min strike? There will be TWO EXPANSIONS out at the very least before I see all of the content that was shipped on the disc I paid for, and for what? Because I play on a system that isn't in bed with Activision atm? Is this really the message you want to send to your Xbox fans Bungie/Activision? I paid 100 dollars for this game which includes the expansion pass and the neat trinkets, but until next year I will be missing out on at least 3 whole strikes, for absolutely no reason. Weapons? I can understand. Shaders? We've seen it before. But entire missions dedicated to lore and story, when your game is practically starving for more content and ways to connect to your game world....do you see what I'm getting at? You're literally fighting the community that so desperately wants to see your game succeed. You are putting yet ANOTHER barrier in our way to keep us from engaging with the world and lore of Destiny. How are we supposed to be invested in the game if Activision is going to throw up a pay-wall at every corner? Haven't you made enough money already? Isn't it time to start using that money towards something substantial? This is a scary trend, a very, very scary trend. We can't be asked to pay every time you want to add something to the game. We can't be restricted from playing content WE PURCHASED for a whole years time (which is almost kind of like stealing...). This should have never crossed your minds for either console. Your game is bare bones with chopped up bits of story through lifeless worlds. Stop dividing your community. Stop fighting your community. Let us become invested. HELP US understand your world, and stop using these old, worn out tactics to make people buy shiny consoles with your name on it.
