Handcannons do not take anymore skill than an AutoRifle. Takes less skill than any other type of gun in the game. If you can't manage to shoot someone in the head twice with a gun that has pretty good rate of fire then you're just bad. No skill needed when the gun kills in two shots. That being said, I still don't necessarily think they're OP. They are pretty much the only thing that works against most of the other powerful guns and play styles. I've had HawkMoon and Thorn for a while and they do not require anymore skill than the other guns in the game do.
