Why you SHOULDN'T buy the DLC

If i worked for Bungie i would be ashamed and embarrassed. If i was a CEO for Activision i would be terrified of gamers (and FILTHY rich). This is an old link, but it might provide insight as to why i would make such a statement. http://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/2hj55b/bungie_and_activision_a_crackpot_theory_on_why/ The announcement of the DLC and it's price was the last straw for me. It should have been included in the game to begin with along with other things. Not only that, but the meddling with the ONE single raid available has illustrated Bungie ineptitude in making current content work to their consumer's liking. The effect of the patch was to prevent Aetheon from falling off the edge right? Nope. The actual effect of the patch has now caused a single player to be teleported to the past or future causing an insta-wipe in certain occassions. It happened to my group twice. And we now have minotaurs coming back to life or just not dying, as if they were not hard enough to kill to begin with. SO what do you call a stupid idea that only breaks the game further. Well thats #BungieVision But that's not even what really irks me. The joke of it all is that we are suppose to pay $20 for one more raid when the current one isn't even working right yet? (It was better before) And yes, we get more strikes and a few more multiplayer maps. And yes there are more weapons and armor because well that's kinda required to increase your level a whole whopping 2 levels. I'm sorry but that is not even close to enough content to warrant a third of the price of the actual game itself. Activision saw the scope of what Bungie was doing and simply decided they could probably make more money by holding content back and then charging for it later as if it was a new addon. I mean there are planets from ViDocs a year ago that appeared finished which are completely missing from the game today. It's a joke. It's insulting. Many people have argued this game is not what we were told it would be. It's true and enough has been said about it. But ultimately our actions as consumers are what makes a difference. I for one will definitely not be supporting this ploy to make more money off less of a game. If you purchase the DLC your supporting this. Other companies in the future will be more likely to try to do the same if its successful. I really don't see this happening, but even so, that's the general pattern the market follows. When Combat Evolved came out i remember being blown away waking up from cryo-sleep on the Pillar of Autumn being attacked and boarded. Crashing onto this crazy ring world with only Cortana, this amazing A.I. as your navigator. Driving over the insane light bridge in the warthog for the first time. It was sick. And oh yeah it all took place within like the first 20 minutes of the game. Destiny hasn't had a draw anything like that. It certainly hasn't made an impression on me that's anywhere close. Instead i couldn't help but feel like i was playing and empty unfinished game. And when i hit 20 it got worse. Combat Evolved had way more multiplayer options and maps and it couldn't even connect to the freaking internet. Yet Destiny wants up to pay more money in hopes that it might start to approach that kind of bar set over a decade ago. Forget that. I already paid too much money. I am simply asking gamers out there to think really hard about what your doing, what you want, and what your actually getting before you open your wallet for the "new" DLC. if you feel the same way i do, i urge you to please be heard here.
