No ascendant materials for today's daily heroic
I don't know if this is a bug or if this has happened to others but figured I'd at least post about it. I completed today's daily heroic on level 28 and did not get the "guaranteed" ascendant materials for it. I did level and get a mote of light at completion of the mission so maybe that's related to the bug.

Same happened to me. I'm hoping it was an unintentional consequence of the latest patch. If they meant it then they've just removed a major attraction of coming back to the game every day. I still need the ascendant energy to upgrade my many legendary weapons. Just 'cause you don't need it for the exotics any more doesn't mean we don't need them at all!
