Faith in Bungie
don't understand where everyone's hate for this game rises but I guess it just depends on the person. Either way, I enjoy the content that Bungie puts out and I believe some of you need to take a step back and look at the situation again.
This is the first game bungie has made since letting go of their prized possession. It isn't going to be flawless because this is their first time branching out in a long time.
Give it time.
I enjoy this game and I look forward to being a part of the community that helps them improve it. So keep it coming Bungie

There is no excuse for this level of bad in a game, especially for a developer with a track record like Bungie's. The game is bad, and the sooner you accept this and stop lying to yourself and everyone else who knows that this is totally unacceptable, the sooner there will be a movement in the right direction. I don't work all day to pay full price for an incomplete product, no matter who made it.

It's not that I hate the game I actually didn't pay any attention to it. (Didn't want to get all hyped up about it) Its been 2 months now and I have been looking into what the game could of been. They built a new engine, so I understand the bugs in the game. They just had so much potential to make one of the best games ever, and I feel like it was a lot of Activision s fault. I found a post on IGN the other day from 2011 about Destiny, and it said that it will be an mmo they made jokes about how it was kind of like wow in space. The mmo factor is minimum I understand it is on consoles and theirs only so much you can do but there should be more players in game and a basic chat system at least. If you watch the e3 trailer from 2013 they changed a lot of the game since then when people joined the game their ship would fly by and drop them off, the shanks flew around the map over giant drop offs and it went where it was strategically needed now they fly predetermined routes 3 feet from the ground, the dialogue is almost 90% replaced from the beginning, he said they eventually hope to open up all of what you can see in old Russia, and many more things. It's almost as if they dumbed down a lot of the game, or rewrote a lot of the core codes. They do have a good beginning to what could be a great story. I just hope it goes out of our solar system. Sorry for my grammar I am playing Destiny as I type this on my phone.

I HAD faith in Bungie. That faith quickly faded when Harold Ryan, the President of Bungie, blatantly lied about Playstation exclusive content in The Dark Below DLC. Ryan is either a liar or an imbecile and I cannot have faith in either! I use to say the same as you.... 'wait and see'. Well, I waited. Then I saw the President of Bungie outright lie to me and every other gamer out there.

2 RepliesIt's not hate as much as it is frustration. We understand that not everything will be perfect as well. That's a given in any software development. The issue is that there are glaring issues with the Raid that should have been fixed before the bumpers were added or the random teleporting was added. Additionally the story content is just lacking, or it only appears to be. The key is that we really don't know because Bungie hasn't revealed anything to us, maybe they have an epic way to tell the story and we really need to sit tight and wait. But with the recent interview regarding the next DLC it seems like they just plain failed with the story. We love the game just as much as you, but we're frustrated and disappointed that the content is limited and key mechanics in the raid are broken. I know I'm focused on the raid here, but there are other issues that I'm just unable to recall right now as I'm trying to multitask.

3 RepliesGreat core game but so far the events have been disappointing and the raid is a buggy mess. I honestly wouldn't mind waiting longer for the content if it was executed correctly to begin with.

It's little things that should be in the game that aren't like volume control and skipping cut scenes.volume control is a small feature but I big -blam!- up when left out no being able to change the volume in game is horrible the sound is just way to loud and ruins the social experience for most I my self use apple headphones because my sony ones broke and I can only hear my friends in one ear

Bungie has taken the best parts of the halo mechanics and repackaged it into something new! I think a lot of the complaining about leveling is moot. In halo your level only counted for your score in multiplayer. Now we are rewarded in multiple ways and you don't have to worry about losing levels after losing a team doubles match. Anyway, keep up the good work bungie!
