What do you guys think?
Considering $20 is not £20, it's more like £15.
The majority of content is ALREADY on your disc.
The content is minimal, 2 xtra lvls, 1 Raid, 1 Strike, couple of stories 3 multiplayer maps and a few bits of new gear.
It's not exactly a game changer is it?
It's not an expansion, it's an add-on in my opinion, it doesn't expand the experience, it's adds to it.
Post away.

Edited by Nixher: 10/30/2014 2:32:09 PMIt's half the price of the game, you would expect 50% extra content. New class, 2 new planets, 2 new primary weapons, 1 new secondary, 1 new heavy, plenty of new armour, 15 more levels, 1 new strike and 2 new stories per existing planet, 4 new multiplayer maps, 3 new multiplayer modes, loads more customization options and emblems and shaders. That's what you should expect if your paying for 50% of the game again, AT LEAST. Not to mention the amount of disconnects we get, and no voice chat, not even included in the DLC. This is equal to extortion. EDIT: The nail in the coffin is, they already made this content 3 months before the release, after the game was completely finished. We've essentially paid for a disc containing an unfinished game, and FINISHED expansion on it. WTF?

Lol £12.50, what a load of shit, goes to show how bad it really is, time to "adjust" my region maybe and download it? That usually works.

Edited by Logan: 10/30/2014 1:52:49 PMAs much as I desperately want fresh content to play in Destiny £20 for the 'expansion' is farcical and much as it pains me to miss out I refuse to pay out that much for so little. Actually I believe there's a ship you can get in Destiny that perfectly encapsulates Activision's attitude towards it's dlc pricing; it's called 'Laughing behind your back'.

Oh and $20 is actually more like £12, not £15 ;)

$20 is perfect for the amount of content in my opinion. £20 however most certainly is not. We can't expect it to perfectly match the exchange rate, but £15 would be reasonable and more or less in line with the amount by which we usually get screwed on the exchange rate.
