$30 on Borderlands 2 gets you:

-4 DLC packs -Much more hours of content than anything on Destiny -Actual engaging story -tons upon tons of replay value with a competent loot system How is it so hard for you Desticles to understand you're getting bent over and fukked by Bungie? I guess you all have to justify that 60 dollar purchase. If your mommy bought this game for you and said no more until your birthday, I understand.
Posted by Autium
Let's be a bit more specific OP, hmm? The Borderlands 2 Season Pass includes: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty (campaign add-on) Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage (campaign add-on) Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt (campaign add-on) Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep (campaign add-on) The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack (level cap increase) The Season Pass does not include: Gaige the Mechromancer (playable class) Krieg the Psycho (playable class) Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 (level cap increase) Add-on packs to be released in the future. --- Now, let's do some GLORIOUS research, let's see just how long these are, and what the cap boost is. • Reeeeeally? You can't compare BL2 with Destiny regarding price/DLC. BL2 released 2012 + 2 years of DLCs released. If you compare the prices paid for BL2 at release plus the season passes plus the item customisations etc then BL2 costs a freaking ton. That been said it was worth the outlay BL2 = epic

    • I bought Borderlands 2 when it first came out at 60 bucks and paid 15 for each DLC when the game was early in its line life cycle. Please don't compare the current price of a 2 year old game that has already had an additional game launch in its franchise to a brand new title.

        • As much as I love borderlands, the game is also much more basic and not even close to pushing the consoles limits, plus it's not on multiple gens, but I guess telling is more fun that using common sense.

Borderlands 2 was an amazing game and I was hoping this game would be a mix of that game and Halo, but unfortunately I was bamboozled.

          • borderlands and destiny are not even REMOTELY the same. BL is a SINGLE PLAYER game WITH multi player options. You never have to see another person if you wish. I have played BL and BL2 untill my eyes bleed, now i cant even tough it because im bored. Once you beat the game so many times nothing new shows up. Destiny..every time i run a mission its different, not as in number of monsters or where they span but in how things work out. one run i am able to punch my way through only to have the random modifiers change and have to stay at a distance.

          • I've been playing both destiny and borderlands and you honestly can't even compare them ... I like borderlands a lot have played all of them but it's not half the game destiny is in any way shape or form

            • Bought it. Once i found out about the golden keys and the codes are given away everyday, that took ALL THE FUN AWAY from the game. Looting system is not all that, and for 1000s of weapons 99% suck

            • Every borderlands game is pretty much the exact same. I got my fill of the first one, bought the second and couldn't bring myself to put more than 5 hours on it.

            • It's the same thing over and over reskinned. More rather go play Final Fantasy VI again. Now that had a good story even though story telling is awkward at 16-bit.

              • I came across this last night, "Why do we struggle to sell a fallen stock? Why is it so difficult to come clean in the middle of a lie? Surface level analysis of why humans won’t easily cut losses says it’s because we don’t want to admit we were wrong or that we don’t want the loss itself. True…But dig deeper, and you’ll see that the root of this problem is actually a fear of failure. Why? Because cutting your losses is confirmation that you have failed, but you haven’t technically failed until you’ve cut the rope of false hope. *snip*…you’ve failed!" Maybe you and the other Destiny haters should just admit you made a mistake when you bought the game and just move on. You'll probably feel a lot better and your time won't be spent mulling over and crying about something you feel this game isn't.

                • It also gets you no PvP and no raid of the quality of VoG. Also BL2 came out over 2 years ago. And many people have played it to death. I myself have played it on three systems. (And still never got bnk3r to drop a blaming sham). BL2 is a good game. It does not equal Destiny. They are not the same.

                • Before I say anything let me state that I love both games (BL2 and destiny) very much. -4 DLC packs: true. -Much more hours of content than anything on Destiny: yes, but this is a case of quality over quantity. Destiny has better combat, co-op, and class balancing (anarchy anyone?). -Actual engaging story: no....just....no...borderlands story has almost as many plot holes as destiny. The difference is destiny fills its plot holes with the grimore's (I'm not saying its done well I'm saying they do it) while borderlands doesn't even try to fill the holes, it just rely's on humor and over the top action to make you forget the terrible story (don't get me wrong it worked, but you can't say borderlands has a good story). -tons upon tons of replay value with a competent loot system: you call endless white weapons and only 10 or so usable end game weapons competent?

Are you forgetting that Borderlands 2 has been out for years? The DLC probably cost much more on release.
