Clarification Request: Iron Banner Medallions, What do you think the update meant?

All coins cashed per win

One coin cashed per win

tl;dr Did the update mean that each win clears your whole inventory of medallions or just one per win? Dear Bungie, As much as I occasionally hope for a Bungie rep or DeeJ to respond, I never expect it. That being said, I really hope this one gets a response. I've noticed a few areas where the choice of words is particularly poor, for example the Titan subclass skill, Unbreakable, which doesn't continually recharge the skill, but the shield of the skill and the ability. So that being said, with the things I've seen where the wording isn't quite as telling or clear as it could be, can we please get a response on this?
Quitting The goal of Iron Banner was to create a PVP playlist where players would push their game and their equipment harder than ever. To do so, the emphasis is on winning. But that meant players who found themselves losing would be inclined to leave. The Iron Lords respect perseverance and tenacity. In the next Iron Banner, players will receive a Medallion of Iron on a loss. Upon their next win, each Medallion they carry will convert into a reputation gain almost equal to a win.
In particular, this part:
Upon their next win, each Medallion they carry will convert into a reputation gain almost equal to a win.
So does this mean, like it really, really looks like it says, that EVERY Medallion in your inventory will cash in? Or one at a time? In other words, let's assume you get 25 rep for Iron Banner for each win and 20 rep for each Medallion. Let's say you have ten Medallions after losing 10 straight games in a row. Does this mean that after your next win you'll get 225 rep?? Or should the wording have been that each medallion will be converted per win. If the former is the case, this is a terrible response! I was really excited at first, but if this is the case, this is just going to result in more people afk in Iron Banner. Think about it. If you can just leave yourself in an Iron Banner playlist and gain coin after coin after coin and eventually just win one game, there is absolutely no reason not to be afk! The issue with Quitting will be replaced with the issue of being afk. If you cash one medallion per win, you actually have to work to mop up your inventory. I really hope this was another instance of unclear written communication. Please clarify this for us. If it is the case that all your coins will be cashed, please reconsider. This will cause major problems! What do you guys think? Did the update mean that each win clears your whole inventory of medallions or just one per win? I can see an argument for both of them.
