When this game was released there were lots of activities and events. In fact they made a poster type thing showcasing all the events they had planned. Little did I expect that those events advertised were the only events they actually had. Which is a little mind blowing. The raid event was great and still is best part of the game in my opinion. Then came the queens bounties which were lack lustre, then iron banner which, despite being almost identical to crucible, was fun and put an emphasis on PvP. I couldn't wait to see what event was next. Well, looks like it's nothing. Other than another iron banner and DLC, Destiny won't have anything special before the new year. I wondered to myself, why is destiny not putting out any new events? Arguably this the most crucial time to salvage a bit of the fan base with the new CoD right around the corner. But then I remembered... CoD is also a publication of Activision. Unfortunately, it would be smart business wise to bore people out of destiny so they buy their next game. I hope this isn't true, but I can't think of any other reason. Other than lack lustre DLC, there is no hype surrounding the future of this game. Water down a game in order to sell another, not new, but still disappointing.
