Halloween in Bungie's Halo days was celebrated with a special Zombies playlist taking place on only the spookiest and best-made community forge maps available. Players loaded up their shotguns, checked their pistol's sights and practiced ravenous moans before diving head-first into a night of slaughter and survival, racking up the kills and tip-toeing around piles of the fallen enemy. So I ask this of you now: what challenge awaits us this year? Will the Darkness breach the Crucible itself and turn Guardian upon Guardian moreso than usual? Will the Hive surge from their pits and sweep across the maps in an endless wave of screeching Thralls and roaring Ogres? Will the Fallen don cloaking systems and prowl the surface unseen? Will the Cabal succumb to cliché and launch an invasion of Earth in towering mechs? Will the Vex rally to the Vault of Glass to drive back those pesky trick-or-treaters who refuse to leave their house alone? ... Will the head of every enemy be replaced by a jack-o-lantern?
