Edit of February 22 of 2015: Happened again in the Iron Banner. On the other team 3 left at once when they got overrun. Edit of March 20 2015: Had two people from the other team rage quit when we pulled ahead by 400 points and only had 1000 more points till we won. Scumbag behavior. 400 points is nothing, i've come back from worse than that. Hell, other teams have come back from worse odds versus me. Just gross and disgusting. Don't be dicks to your teammates, please. Bungie needs to have a system to punish people who abandon a pvp game. The game clearly knows (or should know) when you disconnect because of the connection or when you just quit the activity via the ghost. If you quit via the ghost x number of times you should get some sort of penalty to your character. [b]Disclaimer:This might not the the stereotypical post you might expect from these forums so give me a chance.[/b] I've been there before, I get it. You're getting destroyed by a superior team. Yeah, your K/D ratio's taking a beating. That stuff sucks. It's not fun. Know what's worse? Witnessing people quit in the crucible, leaving their teammates to get destroyed. I just finished a match where half of the opposing team quit because they were losing. It wasn't even an awful beating at that point but still they ran away. I felt awful piling on the remaining players. It was horrible. I've endured awful rounds, a few extra deaths won't affect you much. Quit when the match's over. I'm not going to mince words, this community is awful. And what's worse is that I[b] know[/b] that there are great people in it. I've played with them, i've talked to them and i've interacted with them but the rotten apples are just too numerous. This post really has no point. I'm not offering feedback on how to fix it (would be too hard to fix it via punishment for quitting and whatnot). But I just wanted to put this out there, regardless of how it makes me look. It's my first thread on the Destiny tab/board and I thought long and hard about posting it but I feel it needs to be said at least one million times (pretty sure this isn't the first thread about this particular issue).
