Yeah, the matchmaking is BS. That needs to be fixed that way we can actually team up and do it, and we don't need to troll forums looking for a team. I'm sorry Bungie, but most of my friends don't play on my system(Xbox One), so I play alone alot. As such, I don't have a fireteam to turn to anytime I need to do something with other people. I wish I did, with the raid especially, but I don't. And, due to this lack of matchmaking for the rest of us, we are left unable to enjoy some of the best parts of this game. Now, in response to your question (RANT ENDED), the matchmaking option should work, but I believe that it is glitched. My "evidence" is that for about .01 seconds it says "searching" before it puts you into the strike. The fact that it at least thinks about matchmaking indicates that it should put you in groups with other players, and that it just chooses not to, most likely due to this glitch. As far as the Grimoire goes, I can't say I know too much about it, other than some parts of it are not functional at this time. Some glitchers(who I must commend for their hard work) got to some of the DLC areas of maps(Youtube it) and accessed dead ghosts which should contain Grimoire. They don't, as the DLC isn't out yet, but this is just an example of how the Grimoire isn't fully functional at this time. Best of luck
