Words of a titan that used a Hunter

To everyone claiming that Hunters are OP in pvp well i have to tell you that I that i main a titan, but i made a Hunter because I got an exotic for it so i went into pvp and guess what? i just felt like i was a little ant. I was killed so many times while super was active, rockets, shotguns, fusion rifles, other supers. The melee? Well i am a titan, i 1 hit kill with my shoulder charge, but the Hunters? Man it does takes skill to kill with it. Grenades? I cant kill anything with them, unless they got half life left. While there is indeed stuff that can be changed like the time hunter's supers can be active to be a bit less long,I mean c'mon i can just activate it and then travel along the map and then BOOM 1-3 kills. BladeDancer has way to much damage reduction? Lies. I could tell you about PvE ... But i won't. So yeah every class has some op stuff but then again the classes counter each other. I have no problem with anything actually i just felt like sharing my opinion. So do you think Hunters are op? Why? i would like to know of different point of views. K thanks for reading, you can have a cookie. *Edit* Wow i didnt tought a lot of people would pass by to say something, thanks btw. MORE COOKIES FOR EVERYONE! *Edit:2* More than 500 posts?! Well i didnt thought i would make such thing. Thanks everyone, i saw a lot of people saying how everything is good and many nice stuff here, it is nice to see good people saying their own opinions. #FaithInGuardiansRestored Okay I think that everyone here agrees with the next phrase... "The Class does not make the player, the player makes the class"

  • I'm a Hunter, level 29, Gunslinger mostly. I am a very firm believer in skill based gaming, I.E., I don't like to take the easy way out, especially when talking about PvP. So when I see a Warlock hovering above a group of the enemy, and they are getting many, many, many bullets shot into them, but get four or so easy kills with a Nova Bomb, and nary a scratch from the "battle" (if you'd even call it that), I think of that as an easy way out of a difficult situation. What I'd have to do is equip the exploding perk from Gunslinger, and calculate my shots so that the explosions will hopefully hit nearby enemies close to the victim, and maybe, just maybe, I could duck out of there, regain any lost health, and dive back in to finish the fight. Now that's badass because it's the more difficult way to do it, and it is for the skilled player. It bugs me when I feel like I've been killed in a cheap way. I will admit if I walk into a room filled with the enemy, that it was a mistake on my part. But when I'm being loomed over by a nearly non-avoidable attack, or after I've earned a kill of a Warlock, they just *pop* right back up because of Self Rez with their 2X shields and kill me, I feel like I've been cheated. My second and last point is that Bungie does the Nerfing process so that everyone is on a level playing field when it comes to PvP with the primary objective being that 'everyone gets to be what class they wanted to be because every class is equally strong!' So please, tell me, what is the Hunter's version of Self Rez? How come I'm not invincible when I use Gunslinger (with a max of 3 kills) when Warlock is invincible when using Nova Bomb (with the max kills being 3-6)? Because right now, in my eyes, it seems like I shouldn't be the class I wanted to be. It seems like I need to be a Warlock in order to succeed in Destiny PvP. Warlocks are ruining my gaming experience.
