Why no Hawkmoon love?
In the forums, when handcannon is the topic of discussion, I see no love for HM. It seems to be either Thorn or TLW. Why? The HM is smooth as silk with target acquisition, low recoil, fast fire rate, and 3 bullets do bonus damage.
I'm not implying that hm is better than the rest; I'm just trying understand the differences as hm owns for me in PVE and PvP. Compared to TLW, why is TLW better? I can shoot just as fast with the hw as tlw. I'm not sure about the bonus damages differences though. Last Word modifier seems good, but don't know how that translates in to bonus damage difference between the two.
Thorn I can see being good in pvp due to the damage linger. But again, as far as precision damage goes, it seems I can headshot more effectively with hawkmoon. So, just to compare the three (thorn,tlw,hm), objectively, why is one (tlw) liked more than the others?

1 ReplyEach has dif playstyle TLW is a close range run and gun HM is mid to long range w balanced stats (btw the bonuses can randomly stack so u rarerly will see 2/3 or all 3 bonus shots stacked onto 1 bullet so make sure you land your shots) Thorns more pve based w the railgun rounds and dot (its nomore then an annoyance in pvp and reload speed will get you killed) hawkmoon performs well in either while tlw facerolls in pvp
