Farming is a thing in every loot-based game. If I want to turn on Netflix and watch some British comedy whilst running laps and opening chests-- that's my business. Recently, however, I've come across a bit of a problem. You see, in a game that has countless Rare and Legendary ships in its coding, even an Exotic...it's only natural to desire them. As a loot whore in any MMO-formulated game, I love collecting ships and shaders and whatnot. So here's the problem: I got 3 or 4 "Rope to Heaven" engrams in A ROW. No other ships. And then today, I found "The Fangs of Nyx". Eager to decrypt it, I scurried to the shipright to find...ROPE TO HEAVEN! It looks exactly the same, and after hours and hours of chest farming I call bullshit. Bungie, RNG can only ruin so many lives, and it makes that one moment when you find something any good that much sweeter. BUT THE EXACT SAME COLOR AND MODEL SHIP? I hope this is a bug. Please, tell me that this is a bug. As with most of my rage - driven skepticism related to this game that I both love and hate very much...this post will probably be taken down shortly after it goes up. I am curious though. EDIT (1): Material list on DestinyDB alluding to ship customization and coloring. Dead Orbit has Vacuum Diagram, FWC has The Climb and New Monarchy has Armor of Vows. As with the rest of the purported content, there are faint allusions to the Fallen Raid but NO MODELS on disc. This means that only content for Crota's End has been datamined thus far. Will all these features be available in December? Maybe, maybe not.
