The special weapons are almost all instant kills though. Shot guns for close range, fusion rifles for mid, and snipers for long. Each one will kill you in one hit usually. In fact, the only one that will almost always do it is the shotgun, if the fusion rifle misses a few of the shots then it wont kill you, and the sniper rifle wont kill with body shots in one hit.
