EDIT: So I'm consolidating ideas I've had for Titan buffs into one thread.
Melee:
- Perks in both Striker and Defender activating On HIT and not On KILL.
Class specific // Defender:
- Suppression grenade flags targets for "more damage taken" to soften up targets.
Jump:
- Perk that can add an "overshield" or "barrier" while jumping.
Orignal Post:
I'm not sure what most peoples experiences are with Titan melee utility (AoE damage, Barrier application, Transfusion) but with it all being reliant on a melee kill, the end game viability of Titan melee drops off substantially. I pose the question to you, wise and learned Destiny community; would Titan perks activating on a successful Storm Fist HIT bring the Titan more in line with the other two classes? Is this what's holding Titan's back in being the durable front line class everyone expected them to be?
I encourage you to discuss. Thanks.
You're supposed to say "Girl gamer wants Titan melee perk on HIT, NOT KILLf" so this can gain more exposure and everyone can see it. I usually just say "Black guy wants Vex Mythocalst buff" so people can rush to the forums and agree. On a more serious note, Titans are the tanks of the frontline, who are a force to be reckoned with. As a Hunter/Warlock, I'm obviously biased, but Titans should activate it when you merely melee someone, kill or no kill, like my Warlock flame shield.
