dont seem to get any legendary gear ever !!
So a couple of people I know seem to get legendary gear every cryptarc level, and also a few purple engrams during PVE.
I've only had one purple engram drop in 4days worth of play, and every time I go through the cryptarc rank, I only seem to get 2 or 3 rare items GRRRRRR. I think I am jinxed or something, I don't understand.!! (I am level 16 now and vanguard 4)
I am having to grind for mine. !!
I wasn't sure if its based on stats or something, but would love to find out why I my cryptarc engrams don't ever give me legendary stuff.

if it makes you feel any better I am a 29 titan and have been playing since day one and I got my first legendary special weapon drop this week then right after that i got the raid shotgun... before this time my 29 titan has been rocking a rare shotgun that I got from the queens missions lol

[quote] I think I am jinxed or something[/quote] This explains it all My two cents, I've been getting legendary gear (which i don't need) they will just be random and I don't think you will be getting them from the cryptarch, i'm like level 32 and only twice I got purple stuff which eventually turned blues (before the update) If you're vanguard level for then you should farm marks and buy them yourself

i have been playing for over a month(a week after the start), never seen a purple engram come out of a enemy, EVER

I see at least 4 purples a week. Haven't gotten much worth bragging about. But they're there.

Nether do I to be honest. I've had maybe four engrams. Three of which were shards. I've long since stopped relying on RNG and started planning my loadouts from the Vendors. Almost done armor wise for my Titan! The real grind for the weapons is next.

Do the strike playlists and get your Vanguard level up and earn those marks. Will let you buy your gear from the vendors. Or alternatively you can grind the Crucible. Either way you should be able to get full Legendary gear in about a month doing that.

3 RepliesI'm the same LEVEL 22 HUNTER! Do a buy them or wait for drops? I'm level one vanguard REP because I had MY OTHER BASTARD CLOAK and all my mark are going towards that! Any advice on what I should be hitting? MrchrissyT.

1 Replyi also have had not much drop lately. i was getting a bit bored so today i raided my vault for some old level 10 uncommon gear and took off everything legendary and exotic from my level 27. it dropped me down to level 20. then i grabbed some old uncommon guns and went on patrol again. 2 rares and some green so far in 6 patrol missions! yay! i am even thinking of trying the whole story missions from beginning to end with crap armor and weapons just to see.

2 RepliesYeah drops are now almost nonexistent...best bet is to just buy them, once you have a couple do the NF, do a ton of strikes and every 10 or so cryptarch ranks you might get lucky....and lastly the VOG.

Welcome to the club. I've gotten 3 legendary engrams in the life span of the game. (I picked it up half way through week 1). I had to buy 95% of my good stuff. Only 1 exotic bounty. Just get your vanguard marks, but what you want. The game and developers just hate us.

Well I'm above that and pretty much exclusively solo PVE. I will say this; if you're relying on engram drops it may be a LONG time. I've only ever had 1 legendary drop in the "wild" at exactly 72hrs 23mins of game time...the RNGODS are often not kind...!

Grinded vanguard and crucible marks to get mine. Bought head piece from vanguard, gauntlets and boots from dead orbit. Got my exotic chest from xur. Waiting around for legendaries is not a good option.

If your level 4 vanguArd you should have enough points to buy 1-2 pieces of legendaries

Dont rely in cryptarc to gear up.
