Keep getting constant Stingray error

It's weird because I logged in this morning and did the Nightfall strike.
Come back later, and I'm stuck at the "press a to play" menu.
Error says "stingray" and the website info tells me nothing
Restarting my console didn't fix it. Any help?

4 f sake, I'm spending more time waiting on fixes than actually playing the game, they can fix the farming problems in a heart beat but a stingray error takes forever. Wtf?

I played it all day yesterday without much hassle. Maybe getting the occasional disconnection. But this morning when I switched it on I kept getting the Stingray error message, and it troubled me ever so. Fortunately I can see that I am not the only one and I can safely say I'm glad it's not just me. haha! Bungie will get it's shit together but for now we just have to be patient. For example my patience and internet searching has payed off.. it distracted me for a long time.. which is really funny because now it's just let me get past the start screen. Thank god. I'm getting the same thing. I was awake like 7 hours ago to do the nightfall. I played for about a hour or 2. Than I wake up And I can't sign in. I've tried everything. But yet bungie posted about the stingray problem 6hrs And 30min ago. Swear this game is just getting worse And worse.

Yep ..same was on two hours ago no problems. I read that stingray was an internet problem,so i tried a router reboot but still stingray..not very good for gamers.grrr
