So I got two strike idlers to report me...

Well, today I was trying to do the strike bounty when I encountered two idlers. Well, I guess I shouldn't call them idlers. They weren't idling, they simply refused to proceed. It's obvious they were going after the same bounty but were too afraid of dying. Despite my nonverbal encouragement and PMs, they refused to proceed. I didn't really mind, I probably could have done it in my own. But then one of them decided to mock me by teabagging. So I decided to teach him a lesson. I hopped onto my sparrow and zipped across the rocketfield. I entered the corridors that lead to the firefight between the hive and the fallen. I entered the darkness zone where upon I immediately pulled out my rocket launcher and killed myself. Since there was nobody around to revive me, it counted as a wipe for the whole team. I ingeniously thwarted their cowardly plan and they knew it. When we all respawned in the corridor, they expressed their fury by punching me in vain. Then they left. A minute later I received a message from one of them, calling me a bundle of sticks and alerting me that they had both filed reports against me. That is how you take care of idlers.

  • Ah I truly hate people doing strike based bounties in the playlists. If you're going to do a bounty do it in one of the base level strikes. I can accept that, partially, but don't do that stuff in the damn Tiger playlist. If I get people idle in those I just report them for inactivity and unhelpfullness and leave usually. I really hate people who quit when they die when trying for the Walking Tall bounty. I mean how hard is it to just finish the strike. I've made it a point to never sit and hide when going for that bounty. I always just get on with it and do the strike. If I die, I die, and I'll just do another strike afterwards and try to do better. At least there is a lot less of people farming engrams in strikes now. Early on I got stuck with a couple of idiots who were farming right at the end of the Nexus strike, by killing all the goblins and jumping off the cliff to respawn in the cave just before to do it again. I was trying to finish off a bounty for killing the nexus mind at the time, so I quit and relaunched the strike, only to get put back into the same game with the 2 idiots. This happened 4 times in a row, and from what I could see, also completely useless.
